Hi Ann
You are an Offline marketing time bomb just waiting to explode. That's incredible experience you've got with you right there.
YES! Absolutely! I am 100% sure Offline marketing can be as effective for your SFI business as Online Marketing is.
It's quite unfortunate that so many marketers put away Offline marketing and label it as "old School" but call it whatever you want. It still does work and I know of some pretty successful Offline marketers.
Of course both Offline and Online have their respective share of pros and cons.
The most Important competitive advantage that offline marketing has over Online is the Personal touch. You get to physically meet and interact with potential prospects. This creates immediate trust from interested prospects. Whether you choose to go Off or Online is really up to you. I would suggest doing both for maximum leverage.
In-person presentations
For those not familiar with this term, it's simply a skill to help people who have never presented before overcome their fear of presenting and public speaking.
You could use this skill to speak to a public gathering and pitch you SFI business opportunity during events and gatherings or functions. Make sure you have your TC Gift cards handy and ready for distribution at the end of the presentation. Your physical interaction with your prospects when they ask questions creates a rapport between you and them. This makes it easier to close them.
Direct Mail
Direct mail is a marketing effort that uses a mail service to deliver a promotional printed piece to a target audience. Please take note of the word "target". What's the advantage? Unlike other forms of advertising, in which you're never sure just who's getting your message, direct mail lets you communicate one-on-one with your target audience. That allows you to control who receives your message, when it's delivered, what's in the envelope and how many people you reach. It encompasses a wide variety of marketing materials, including brochures, catalogs, postcards, newsletters and sales letters. Major corporations know that direct-mail advertising is one of the most effective and profitable ways to reach out to new and existing clients.
Go to SFI's very newly re-branded marketing center and select and buy some marketing aids that suite this method e.g Brochures, Flyers, Physical Gift cards etc They all have great benefits when used appropriately.
At Trade shows, and Network events your confidence is going to take you places. You could either set up your own table stand and have people come visit your counter and see what you have to offer or simply take the time to approach people and distribute the TripleClicks Gift cards to them.
Some other marketing material that you could make use of from TripleClicks are the TC X-CARDS and of course flyers, Brochures etc
The ideas in offline marketing are many really. You have to be creative. For example you could:
1.Turn your car into a mobile billboard. Placing a WAVE3 decal on the top or sides of the vehicle is one way to do this
2.If you can afford, Create a press release for a pricebenders auctions for new products and buying products for pennies on the dollar, promotion or business milestone and send it around to local papers and magazines
3.Providing sponsorship for a local sports team is a canny way to get known in the community. In return for your contribution you should be able to get SFI'S company logo on the team’s shirts and perhaps even around the ground where they play. Or you could simply purchase SFI's already branded T-shirts and distribute them as charity in exchange for a platform to share your business.
4.Offer your TC Gift cards as the prize for a local contest, whether it’s for a church fete raffle or a school fancy dress competition, this will really cast your business in a positive light.
You have lots of creative ideas in your mind to Effectively promote your SFI business offline and make it.
Go for it Ann! The sky is the limit
Kind regards
