Question:
"Follow-ups are crucial to success. What in your follow-up emails have you found to be effective in getting results?"
The most effective follow up practice begins from scratch. We seek those who are seriously seeking to work with us.
How do we know a person is serious?
A serious person usually responds to our email. These are those we are really interested in supporting. They ask questions, and offer suggestions. If you experience a person who is finding fault, or making excuses, and will not take the effort to indicate their seriousness, there is no real reason to follow up with this person. Do not waste your time.
What you want to rely on is the group mailer, e Cards, and other communication platforms such as blogs, websites, and social media chat platforms. Our blogs have subscription options, our websites also have membership opportunities.
Here we give our customers and our team members the opportunity to communicate with us. We collect information and data which serve to help us make determinations on the needs of our customers and team Affiliates. Now we have developed reasons for following up specifically because we have collected information that will help us support our customers and affiliates.
SFI also provides us with many ways to collect information. We must keep up with our Affiliates if we are in the business of following up with their needs, and support them. This is one reason why I suggested to focus on the serious. (it is good we do not enroll all serious minded people all the time, because it takes effort to support one Affiliate properly one on one)
Know how many enrolls you have the ability to support and communicate with at the same time most effective and efficiently. This is very important also. You may want to automate your communication in some areas.
The more we advertise the business opportunity online, more effort is required to communicate.
Short surveys on our blogs, websites, and email help collect necessary information about our customers and Affiliates.
We can then set up our personal email accounts with files and folders to categorize their personal and individual needs. With a diverse collection of information we know have the ability to communicate as associated with the needs of our customers and team members.
Using the "Genealogy" functions as an example we can also duplicate this by using those same categories to set up our personal email accounts to communicate more effectively, because we have the ability to include images, videos, and direct copies from our websites and blogs to help our communication process to be more effective, and provide information much more efficiently.
By combining all of these resources and tools our follow up process is much more proficiently delivered.
Very good thoughtful question.
