We need to get “gift” ideas out on the net now! The more products you can advertise the more chances you will have of gaining some of the holiday on-line customers.

Taking the above into account, our ads need to be centered on giving your prospect the best solutions for their gift buying. Things like:

• Shop 24 hours a day no need to fight long lines and traffic rush.
• Have your gifts delivered directly to the recipient’s front door.
• Shop with us and earn bonus points for FREE gifts.

It would also be good if you personally were to do “Transfer buying” with the gifts to your loved ones. Instead of giving the retail stores your hard earned money buy them from TripleClicks and ship them directly to your loved ones.

Now send your loved ones a nice Christmas card informing them that a gift just for them is coming in the mail. Also send them a Gift Card from TripleClicks as an added bonus.

My greatest suggestion would be to do your promoting as EARLY as possible.

The shipping time that some ECAs have for their products is over a month, to certain countries, usually to people not living in their own country. When many products at TripleClicks have free shipping for their products, though, this is to be expected.

Promote the ECAs that accept pick-ups - where buyers who live in that area can go and collect their products at the premises of the ECA, especially when time is running out to get one's gifts in time! Obviously try and geo-target market where possible - market the products of an ECA in a certain country to people living in that same country.

Or warn your potential PRMs that they may need to order as soon as possible in order to get their products on time for the gift-giving season. Do of course mention, though, that the delivery time may only be a bit long due to many products at TripleClicks having shipping included in their price (free shipping!)

Plan well in advance. Order some gift-giving season products for yourself too, now, and then late next year - not too late though!- you can show off these products to potential PRMs which may help entice them to order the same products.

Also mention how at TripleClicks they may be able to get an extra gift to give to somebody for free:

We have all the resources at the Marketing Center to help us successfully promote TripleClicks products during this holiday season as well as throughout the year. Although the sales and marketing efforts of big retailers is already in full swing for this holiday season, gift giving is always fashionable.

I suggest you just do “more of the same” as what you have been doing to promote TripleClick products during the year.

But, of course, the Christmas and New Year holiday and gift-giving season presents a “bonanza” for SFI affiliates to do some really specific targeted marketing.

The following is just a suggestion of how you may be able to do this, but really there are innumerable ways – you are only limited by your own imagination.

One thing you could do is select certain categories of products – such as perfumes, special soaps etc. But perhaps you shouldn’t make the range too wide.

Maybe it may be better to go through TripleClicks and “pre-select” a few special gifts that you particularly like and market those as widely as possible.

Perhaps use the heading “The 5 (or 10) best gifts to give to a …

1. Baby
2. Toddler
3. pre-teen boy
4. pre-teen girl
5. teenager
6. young adult ma
7. young adult woman
8. your mum
9. your dad

etc. You choose what market you are targeting.

Perhaps include a price range, for instance

For $5.00 or less
$5.00 to $10.00

Make your choices AND give your reason. Include a graphic if you can and maybe a recommendation for someone.
