SFI is a top notch, high standards business. All our business building efforts should reflect a professional attitude, using business like methods and tools. An event like this would gain more if held at a business location, except when the gathering has recreational character.

A get-together is not contradictory to this understanding as long as it complies with the above requirements. In other words, an open house get-together to promote SFI should be held in the business district rather than in a private home.

Many corporations hold open houses for recruiting. Prospects walk in without prior appointments or prior set interviews. However, the entire event remains always highly professional.

Other examples are business exhibitions and brand promotional events.

Keeping this in mind, it may be very effective to organize an open house if it is thoroughly prepared.

The most important success contributing factors have to do with the atmosphere and its welcoming nature

Some of the ideas to organize an open house get-together to promote the SFI opportunity are as follow.

- Finding an easy access business location to host the open-house. If it was situated in the business district, it would more likely be taken very seriously and even some passers-by may join and find interest in the presentation.

- If the organizer is not a LocalPay or ECA, it would still be a good idea to have TripleClicks products handy as samples, as some of the attendees may be potential TripleClicks customers.

- Adequate computer equipment with internet connection can prove to be very effective in getting your prospects to get online and explore SFI

I always find it very interesting to read the answers to questions here. You can actually see what is important to people by reading their answers. I sometimes read the answers and shake my head. Are these answers wrong? For some people it would be 100% accurate, for others it would be totally wrong.

I am very much about people, tolerance and uniqueness and about human nature while somebody else is a lot less so. They have a certain recipe and a set of rules and actions they believe works. They will read my answer and think I am crazy - guess that is why the voting process works.

My answer to your question is based on my experience of human nature. People are much more open and willing to listen when they are relaxed and in a more informal environment. They tend to be on guard when they are invited to a formal gathering intended to convince them to sign up for something. They've probably been to other formal presentations that looked good on paper, sounded great presented by a charismatic presenter - only to find out they have to cough up a "small contribution" before they can enter the land of milk and honey. A contribution they can most probably not afford if they are there in the first place and not so small after all. Dissapointment and less trust is the result.

To present SFI to a group of people I would suggest you keep it small and simple. Make it a fun get together. You can have pamphlets, business cards and other informative literature available that people can look at. Set up your computor with a presentation and concentrate on being the perfect host. People are curious beings - they will look at your exhibition and ask questions. You are not forcing them to sit and listen to a sales pitch. If they ask you to eplain they will listen with attention. If you get them there by offering prizes they will sit and their mind will drift off to the prize they want to win and your presentation will not get the attention you want.

The moment you have to convince people to attend something by offering rewards and prizes you limit your chances for success. Invite them to a fun get together and incidently introduce the concept without all the bells and whistles - just the truth - and you increase your chances.

Remember - SFI and TripleClicks is for individuals, a home based business - that is why big formal presentations, you would use to get big serious investors in a big corporation, will not work.

As far as the open house is concerned - invite your friends and family and make it open for them to bring somebody along.

Since you mention "open house get-together", I am picturing your warm market.

I would think your friends, family, neighbors would be interested in a barbecue/picnic type of casual affair. I would suggest some light snacks, sodas, before hand, then your presentation, then all can relax, eat, and all can join in discussing what you have presented to them. Be prepared to answer all manner of questions - these are people with whom you are comfortable, and vice-versa, so they will not be afraid to ask whatever pops into their minds, as a stranger might be.

Your computer should be available for showing SFI/TripleClicks to them, the auctions, games, ECA products as well as TripleClick's products. Present them the option of affiliate as well as PRM, fully explaining both.

Have some marketing flyers available, as well as any items you might have won in auctions, or purchased outright for yourself -- things they can see and touch will reach more chords than just pictures.

I guess a few of the many reasons you choose to have an open house to present your SFI opportunity, is because you are well aware that holding such events will attract interested consumers, at the same time allows you to showcase your products and services this way is to gain new customers too. To some this method is old fashion, but it has its advantages.

It could be done by inviting your warm markets i.e your family members, friends and colleagues for a small scale get together or by simply advertising your open house in various ways such as distributing of flyers, newspaper insertions, engage a group of people to distribute your open house invitation fliers into each letterbox within your vicinity etc, for a big scale gathering. Once the above plan accomplished, now time to sit down and consider what you will like to do at your open house. I think it is not a good idea to start off your opening with ‘we are here to learn on how to make money’. You might send the message that SFI is a scam.

1) If you own a service business, definitely you will have no physical products to showcase. Your event then should be geared towards demonstrating or educating attendees about your service, what are the benefits to them and have some testimonials by pre-recorded video, for example for them see and hear.

2) If you are selling physical products, it is a must for you to offer the best opportunity for attendees to touch, see and feel them.
Demonstration – probably the best way to engage them and to help consumers understand about benefits of using your products, here you can take the opportunity to offer them some discounts for bulk purchases. Its a good idea to have an open house get-together to present the SFI opportunity and the success of the meet depends on your thorough Planning and Preparation.

Please have a clear Financial Budget; Plan and spend your resources well within your Budget.

1. Equip yourself with all information about SFI/TripleClicks so that you can clarify
many things confidently;

2. Have a Lap Top with an Internet connection to give live presentations/Demonstrations;

3. Decide your Target audience like Students/Housewives/Retired People, etc & prepare the
Meeting Agenda accordingly;

4. Select a suitable Venue which is connected very well with transport facilities;

5. Have a Target on number of participants & send invitations sufficiently in advance and have
their confirmation;

6. Have one or two of your Team members to support your efforts;

7. Do not charge any fee and offer the whole presentation free of cost.

8. Provide the participants snacks & drinks (coffee/Tea,) at your cost.

9. Set the duration of the meeting at not more than 3 to 4 hours.

10. Start and end the meeting in time.

11. Split the contents & present sessions of short duration; Try to cover important aspects like
ECA, Garage Sales, Transfer Buying, PRM, Wave3 in detail;

In the past, the best way to run an open house get-together would be to order samples of product to show off. Unfortunately, this is hard to do since everything is online. You could ask everybody to bring their laptops with them so you can demonstrate on their computers while having snacks and games to keep them occupied.

By providing snacks and games, you will be able to have one-on-one time without making others feel left out. Everybody will get a chance to talk to you while at the same time have fun with other people while waiting. This will also encourage dialogue with others after you explain SFI to them. Another good idea would be to recruit a few people ahead of time to help you present the opportunity. This could help you cover more ground in less time.

Here is the reason why I say use their computer for your demonstration. By using their computer, you can add shortcuts and bookmarks so they can look it up later. You can also sit beside them and have them do the typing and browsing. This will give them a "hands on" experience with SFI.

You could offer SFI as a home workshop for all or one of the marketing links available to us through SFI 's marketing tab.
Offer a free home cooked dinner or lunch prior to the meeting to help everyone get acquainted and show up leisurely before the meeting, make it a backyard BBQ to create a relaxed atmosphere.
Have a business building garage sale & promote SFI's auctions & the wolds largest garage sale at TripleClicks ,while selling your unwanted gems/items. Offering drinks & something your cooking on your BBQ just off to side to promote a neighborly atmosphere could help. The smell of a good BBQ helps prospects feel welcome.
Get together with the people that will help with your house get together/presentation and get everyone's opinions. Great ideas come from surprising places when we put our heads together & think about what what inspired us to join Sfi / TripleClicks.

You need to study SFI basic very well, know some key questions and answers for that occasion.

Your need to study the SFI Launchpad very well as to know the full history and fundamentals of SFI business, building affiliates, Founder and many more.

Furthermore, you need to have some computers or browsing devices with internet connection that will be connected and working well on that day to register and recruiting members.

You need to be on a corporate dressing to show everybody that SFI business is a corporate work and not a dirty job, i believe that packaging is also another form of promoting a business.

Open house get-together can be two types:

The First one, As the name suggests, it will be held in a Park, Community Hall or in a Hotel and not in a small enclosed space.

1. You can invite the local SFIérs, and the General Public from the local area, city, region etc.
2. You can announce in the Forum that a get-together of SFI members is being arranged in so and city, at such & such time at so and so place.
3. All those attending should give their consent well in advance (generally about one month).
4. Plan the meeting well. More than one members can unite to conduct the presentation.
5. Collect all the material like visiting cards, banners, Flyers etc. handy to show and recruit the new prospects.
6. If members are coming from other states to attend the meeting they should be told the expenditure involved at the local hotel.
7. The members should be called to attend early in the morning and a mid-morning refreshment should be arranged by the organizing committee.
8. If the presentation is likely to continue till 5-6 PM, a lunch is required to be arranged by the committee as well.
9. Member coming from other states should be provided with guideline to bus stand, railway station and airport.
10. At the end of the presentation process next meeting and place could be announced to be organized by the different local committee.

The second type of in-house get-together is rather simple and can be conducted locally at a small scale inviting people staying in your building and adjacent buildings.
This type of get-together may not bring many recruits, but is simple to conduct and your presentation would travel from mouth to mouth.
