I started alone the rating matches who wins and even amused me even when I guessed something. It starts with me through SFI to be quite a fan and watch the happy results of matches.
That's why I founded my team where I invited my people, who normally study writing and yet do not know if it connects or not. It just know. I think it's quite a nice break from teaching and working at SFI. Like every game there and this will simply detached from the obligations, at least for a moment, and then a week experiencing tension as the game goes ... if you win or not. I recommend.

This is an interesting question, although I cannot answer it. Why? You haven't told us about your league! How can we know how to promote it until we know what your league provides? Are you offering prizes? Are you creating a league forum to discuss the game among competitors? Providing stats? All of these things can provide the motivation that will make your invitation--and your league--worth someone's time.
the great thing about utilizing email invites is that each recipient gets a unique link through which they can join your league. That way only your commish can designate who gets invited and who doesn't. Invites can be sent out by entering each email address into the "New Invitations" textbox.
