Each affiliate is different and many take longer than others to understand what to do.
a) Those that are really serious or have been in marketing, will not have to rely on their sponsor
after becoming familiar with the websites.
b) Many who sign up don't understand what marketing is and will have be more dependent on their
sponsor.
c) Some will get frustrated and leave without doing anything.
d) Many affiliates don't consider SFI & TripleClicks a business, so come and go when they feel like
it or don't have good website access so can't show up daily.
e) Those that don't understand English work harder, but do need more help.

Here Are Some Tips For Success and To Help Your Team Become Independent!

When a new affiliate first starts working on SFI, it does look confusing so give them all the information they need to start working their business as:
1) Send a Welcome E-Card message as soon as you are notified. You can find a default welcome

Include your leadership gateway as: www.sfimg.com/leadership/XXXXXXXX (your ID#) and your
e-mail. This will allow them ways to contact you by either starting a chat, sending a Team mail
(at the bottom of your Blog page) or by sending an e-mail.
2) Follow up With E-Mail! with an e-mail this will let you know that you have a correct e-mail
address. Explain this is THEIR REAL business, they must show up daily (if possible)
To start the new affiliate needs to read The "Start" and The "Basics"
Then start reading The "Launchpad" each day and do the To-Do-List.
After they have finished the Launchpad it's important to start reading from the black "Training"
tab at: https://www.sfimg.com/Training/
3) New affiliates that are not fluent in English will to be aware that there is a Translator on each
page of SFI and TripleClicks. This can be a challenge when they have posted "other" instead of
their language. It's important to help them by sending message in their language.
4) Suggest new affiliates should join a2a to find friends from their country that are team leaders.
This will help them understand when a situation arises that only pertains to that country.

5) Take the time to send regular messages as a weekly Team Mail, to Congratulate your affiliates
as they progress and reward them as they achieve.

Make sure to send group mailings to all your team. Some that are inactive, may come back to
learn and work.

Since you are successful, you will really never stop coaching and helping your team, because as you learn and as the websites are updated, you will want to pass on your new knowledge.
Also, as new PSAs and CSAs join your team, you will start teaching and helping from the beginning again.

Take my word for it; do not rely too much on your sponsor if you want to build a successful SFI business. The relationship between a sponsor and an affiliate in SFI can at best be described as a “forced’ relationship because you had no choice in the matter of who becomes your sponsor or co-sponsor. For that reason, you can at best put up with your sponsors instead of relying heavily on them because SFI business demands that every affiliate must have a sponsor.

The most comfortable way to relate with your sponsor is as a business partner because you both are involved in SFI business as independent business persons. For that reason, you can rely on your sponsor in some limited ways only if you want to build a successful SFI business. Specifically, you can rely on your sponsor for:

1. Regular tips on how to succeed in SFI business.
2. What to concentrate on based on your set goals.
3. Where to get reading/learning information in SFI.
4. What to prioritize at what stage in your SFI business.
5. Where to promote your Gateways free for maximum effects.
6. What to do and what not to do in your marketing campaigns.
7. Where and how to invest your money in the business for maximum benefits.
8. What cooperatives to join and for what purpose.
9. Tips and tricks on how to get what works and what doesn’t.
10. How to set goals and targets for maximum results.
11. How to benefit from the forums.
12. How to benefit from the Trivia Games.

Please note that all of the foregoing is purely advisory from your sponsor. What you eventually do and don’t do is entirely up to you. Ultimately, as an independent business person, the success or failure of your SFI business is absolutely your responsibility and not that of your sponsor. That means you must rely more on your self and your abilities than on your sponsor if you want to build a successful SFI business.

To build a successful SFI business: your sponsor can only guide.

It is up to you to make decisions that are right for the way You want to run Your Business.

A good or great sponsor will be there to help solve any issues or problems you may have, but that is not always the case.
My first sponsor quit, and my newly re-assigned sponsor is non-responsive.

Everything I have done here has been of my own accord.
I am thankful for my Co-Sponsor though, as she has been there to discuss issues and we have helped each-other.

Help from your Sponsor, Co-Sponsor and the Forum is great.

What a wonderful question. In fact, every body needs help, guide and support from his/her sponsor. But all are not lucky enough. In my opinion, one needs not depend upon one’s sponsor. A sponsor has so many affiliates. He would like to work with the workers. So are you a sincere worker? If not, be one to come into the eyes of your sponsor so that he helps you further as he has a vested interest in your progress.

SCENARIO 1

You do not log in daily. You do not complete your daily tasks. As the saying goes, you can lead a horse to a river, but you cannot make him to drink water. Horse has to drink water himself. So, your sponsor cannot do much about you unless you do your part.

SCENARIO 2

You sometime log in in a week or month. Do something unwillingly, but get bored soon as you do not get the desired results soon. You tend to forget, SFI is not a sprint, but a marathon. You do not complete the race, on the contrary stop in between. In this case, your sponsor cannot help you even if he wants.

SCENARIO 3

You are a self motivated person. You login daily. Complete you Daily, Weekly & Monthly actions, You Read a lot. You learn a lot and apply all you learn into your SFI business. In such case, you need no one to guide, support and help you. You will surely succeed unless you QUIT.

Relying on your sponsor depends on who you are, what you want and how you want it. On the other hand, it also depends on who your sponsor is, what he can offer in terms of support and assistance and his/her willingness and capacity to offer what he/she can offer. There is nothing too much or too little to rely on your sponsor in as much as you are not relying on him/her to do for you what you can do for yourself or to work your business for you.

As you can see, your reliance on your sponsor will depend on your experience and your learning curve; lack of experience will increase your reliance on your sponsor and similarly, a slow learning curve will also increase your reliance, otherwise it will be reduced. It is also the case that as you rely on your sponsor to be successful in your SFI business, so also your sponsor relies on you for his/her success. This means reliance is mutual and the benefits there from are also mutual, however, the type and nature of reliance differ with both of you.

As a newbie, you may want to rely on your sponsor as follows;

1. To simplify the SFI business model to your understanding and guide you as you navigate through the nitty-gritty of this business; supporting and assisting you to get up to speed with the process.

2. You may also rely on your sponsor to guide you to various ways you can obtain various information that will enable you make appropriate decisions going forward, including alternative and appropriate places to get support.

3. You may also rely on your sponsor to lay out the income generating activities that are required for your engagement in order to develop an understanding on how to make money here, which is why you joined.

As your sponsor may have reciprocated your reliance on him/her in the steps above, the onus may now be on you to determine whether you can apply what you have gained from your reliance on him/her to develop your business and if you still lack some idea on how to proceed, then you may continue to rely on your sponsor on how to:

1. Stabilise your business by guiding you on the alternative ways to maintain your EA status on a continuing basis.

2. You may also rely on your sponsor on the technical details of how and where to advertise for SFI signups, TC members/sales, ECA signups and may be SFIPPA, drawing your attention to the benefits on each of them.

3. You may need to rely on him/her for encouragement, motivation and recognition of your efforts. This is important in situations where you are overwhelmed, depressed, unhappy and confused, especially when the 'lubricant' of your patience and dedication is running dry.

At this stage, you may think you have worked hard enough to be seeing success and unfortunately, you are of the opinion that your success is not commensurate with your perceived level of success then you may rely on your sponsor again for the following:

1. Help you with modern and alternative ways you may need to apply to tweak your business strategy to improve the chances of success in your SFI business. In this regard, you are relying on his/her experience and the power of his/her example (duplication). What is he/she doing currently that is different from before? What are his/her team building and restructuring strategies for a more effective and productive team? What are the new promotion, communication, sales and marketing tools that are working better, he/she is aware of and applying to his/her business?

2. You may also need advice on cost saving strategies if you feel you are overstretching your budget. You may as a consequence, rely on your sponsor to guide you on cheaper sources of signups e.g. co-opting, website traffic, blogging, Search Engine Optimisation, social network marketing, face-to-face prospecting etc.

3. You may rely on your sponsor also to help you build relationships and contacts that are pertinent to building a more successful business. You may be lucky to have an experience sponsor who has valuable networks in the online marketing business that will be very useful to you as you strive to build a successful SFI business, but be alert to cross solicitation and if you smell a rat, discontinue.

To wrap it up, you have to bear in mind that your sponsor is human and may not have all the attributes and capacity to attract your reliance on him/her, so you need to also make serious efforts to help yourself by hard work and developing an appetite to learn by reading and understanding. This is very important in this business and according to Jim Rohn "Formal education will make you a living. Self-education will make you a fortune." You are supposed to make your business a success and not necessarily your sponsor, his/her support is only complementary because you don't wait for someone else to make your life terrific. Please, let me tell you frankly: You can rely on your Sponsor for some basic guidelines about how you can score some high VersaPoints in SFI and remain relevant. You can also share experience with him/her about how you can scale up yourself in the Leadership Ladder - whether in your class, country or overall.

But sincerely, if you are looking at building a successful SFI business, it is strongly recommended that you go through the series of great information contained in the 30-day Launchpad over and over again, get involved in both 'stream' posts as well as Forum posts that contain relevant guidelines on growing this business on daily basis. Surely, you will get much more information from majority of these write-ups than much more than merely restricting yourself to just your Sponsor.

Next, you need to do a wide reading on internet marketing generally. You also need to get involved in Internet marketing titbits, particularly with regard to advertising and promotion - both offline and online.

With all these, you will get more knowledge in knowing how to build a successful SFI business, or any other online business for that matter.

If you were working for your sponsor, then I guess you would have to rely on your sponsor to get you to work your business.

2. I would recommend you to make good use of not only your sponsor but also all those in your up-line.But do not depend on them to help you in logging & carrying out the SFI activities.
A good sponsor's worth is invaluable. However, it is a bonus and may not always be the case. You may be lucky to get an excellent sponsor.Pl do make use of him in clarifying your doubts etc.
3.When building a business you have to rely on yourself. It is your sponsor's job to guide you, teach you whatever they can but it is not their job to build your business for you. Basically, make good use of your helpful sponsor to your advantage. If he is not the helpful type, do not waste your time worrying about it! Initiate, get into action and start building your business and maybe you will even motivate your sponsor to become more active.
4. Build a good relationship with your sponsor and learn what you can from them but at the same time make use of your own skills, talents & resources. However to be frank, no one is responsible for your success except yourself!
5. Apart from your sponsor, SFI has an amazing and awesome Forum which is quite informative & alive! You can ask anything in there and get all help and support in clarifying most of your doubts of this business within minutes! You can also learn a lot from previous questions& their respective answers and tips given over there.
6. You may make good use of the answers given by the different affiliates to questions asked in ASK SC and earn daily Versa points by rating these answers too!
7. To add to all this ,there is a vast, loads of useful gem of training & information on the SFI site maybe better than what your sponsor would be able to convey!
8. If you have a helpful sponsor, that is great...but there is no need to worry if you do not have one.The SFI team is always there to help you to be successful in this unique, legal and transparent 17 years old online marketing/duplication/sales/purchase business.
9. On the contrary, if you are lucky to have a good sponsor, listen to her/him. Please remember that your sponsor is a person who has more experience than you in your job - maybe it is only one day more or a hundreds of days more, but nevertheless you can learn from him/her. All their experience in SFI counts! Please listen to their advice, readily accept their help & follow their guidance.
10. It may so happen b that In your up line your sponsor may not be that helpful but someone else from your up line may prove to be a perfect guide & tutor for you.

SFI is an amazing system that assures that each Affiliate has a "support team" to help them in their efforts to build their own team. Because it is impossible to "predict" the human mind's actions, it is possible that the person that is assigned to a new affiliate as their "Sponsor" will in fact turn out to be a "quitter" which is sad in and of itself, but really has no effect on the Affiliate that they sponsor.

There is a huge amount of support with SFI, and those that see our vision, and believe in it, will look for those that do communicate with them on their support team and do well.

Each of us has an amazing Sponsor with SFI, and his name is Gery Carson. You can't do better then this! In 30 years of attempted internet marketing, I have never had a reply from the owner and founder of a company. With SFI, it happens all the time.

We are in good hands. Rely on SFI, and learn. Excellent assigned Sponsor can or might not happen. Only a slight bump in the road.
