If your actions inspire others to dream more,
learn more,
do more and become more,
you are a leader.-----------------If 'others' are not available in hand then what the person will do by achieving a Team Leader rank. In my opinion, every one should touch the rank of team leader when he/she has minimum 2 active PSA as their down line, otherwise it will become a case of huge recurring investment.
So, my answer is - do not go for the rank of team leader if you don't have a team.

The short and simple answer to your question is No, and here is why"
[Quote] There's no reason for being a Team Leader unless you actually have a team! That is, all of the major financial benefits of being a Team Leader are derived from the override commissions (i.e., Matching VP) you earn on your team members. Sure, it's nice to have the prestigious rank of Team Leader, but it's a title only essentially if you don't actually have a team built under you to earn Team Leader commissions on.[UNQUOTE]
In the context of our SFI businesses, a team is a group of salespeople responsible for the sales of either a single product or the entire range of SFI and TC products and services.
Therefore, having a list of PSAs and CSAs who do not show up for work and/or are unwilling to convert to SFI/TC customers does not constitute a sales team needed to earn you SFI sales commissions.

I would have to say no. There are different responsibilities as a team leader then when you are a EA2. In any business, it is vital that you know the business. I suggest to all my Affiliates to make sure to read over the information with all of the task. Go over the rules and the other information necessary in order to sustain a strong team. Then continue to study it.
A strong team consist on quality not quantity. You need very few active Affiliates to have a successful SFI team. The way to do this is, to make sure to be able to support them in a way that they do not have to contact SFI unless absolutely necessary.
Being a team leader is great, but just make sure you know your business so you can be an effective leader for your team

Absolutely! You make the rank of Team Leader by earning VersaPoints. More VersaPoints earned generally equates to more money coming to you. So, it just makes sense.
It's kind of like going to the store to get cookies. When you get there, your favorite cookies are on a "buy one/get one free" special. Well, you were going to buy one package anyway, you might as well get two, it won't cost any extra.
I do not recommend it. It is very difficult to be a leader without team. The word leader means than you are guiding someone, than you take care about someone. When you do not have your team do not have the background to be a team leader. It will be hard to collect points if you are alone. Even if you buy SO, you will hardly reach leadership positions. My advice is to work on a team, then you will be a team leader.
Hello,
No. If you have no team, you would be trying to lead without followers. Get PSAs first, CSAs are unreliable; then when your PSAs, about 4 or more become EA2 them it is time to become team leader. The position of team leader brings responsibilities and requires more duties, like writing more letters etc.etc. So keep sponsoring PSAs untill you have a team, and at the same time encourage your PSAs to do the same, recruit and build their teams; duplication is key. I hope this helps.

For starters,it is not possible for you to advance to EA status without SFI assigning 2CSA to you as their Co-Sponsor.You can support these two CSA,even though you did not sponsor them personally. Maintaining your EA status monthly guarantees you steady supply of CSA.When you take the decision to advance to TL,you will have had a team to work with in building your business. This is the beauty of SFI.
Question: "should a person go for the rank of Team Leader if they don't yet have a team?"
my answer is yes, you can.
you can go for the rank of team leader, but it's hard for you to maintain the rank.
You can make a standing order 1500 vp or more every month for your business.
Example, you can place a standing order 125 TCredits to get 1500 vp and also you can get new csa for you to build a good team.

My opinion is no. I went to become a BTL. I was awarded the CSA's.The CSA's proved no good. They are still in my team. But they are totally inactive. Also I have a lot many PSA's but they are also not active. They turn on to site rarely. so investment and without returns I decided to step down and be satisfied being an EA. When the good day dawns of few active PSA's & CSA's I suggest should be right moment to be a Team Leader
