By using all the tools provided by SFI or you can start your own as an additional ways of achieving your objectives and grow your business strong. Among the ways are:
1) Newsletter/Team mails/Stream post/SFI live chat
Send out weekly newsletter/team mails/stream post to your team with a brief tips You are letting members in your team know that you care. They don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. Use all these to acknowledge achievement, to praise your team members for job well done. Give & share your best tips and advice. Talk to them if they ask for advice.
2) Create a Team Co-op.
You can use Pay Per Click or any other ad campaign – you can award it free or use member’s URL who partipate in the Co-op, in your advert, on rotation basis based on the Co-op share/allocated.
3) Create a contest within your team – Create and let your members know using method no. 1. Use your Leadership Page to create this contest. It is a great way to motivate your downlines. Offer something of value like free e-books, Co-op Shares, if you can afford paying for purchase of TCredits subscription (Standing Order) or any other which can help them build their team, which, in return will benefit you as well.
Outside SFI, these are a few things I think can help improve our communication with team members..
4) Conference calls – Skype is one of the cheapest and free. Google Hangout. Facebook Instant Messenger, Yahoo IM and so many more ways you can use to interact with your downlines. Besides using it to motivate and help your team, it can also be used as a recruiting tools. You may want to segment it, that this weekly conference call are for e.g. new affiliates, leaders, group brainstorming session or even devoted for recruiting.
You can also create a buddy system – encourage these buddy groups to have weekly/monthly conference calls amongst themselves.
5) Similar to SFI’s News Alert, you too can create a newsgroup, a great way to promote teamwork. Your team members will have the opportunity to help each other because this newsgroup sets your team apart and makes it seem special.
Let your team members know that you will visit this newsgroup on a regular basis or even on specific date of the month. Post a schedule for your team members to know your visiting date. This way, if they have anything to ask or requested for a feedback from you, they will know when exactly your next scheduled visit will be. Used newsletter (item no. 1) to encourage your team members to take advantage of this newsgroup. Update them within your devoted section in your newsletter.
Finally, everyone should know how to blog. Its an additional way to keep in touch with your team, to show them that you care. By sharing your quick tips, tools, info that you can post on weekly basis. Your timely updates, post your weekly newsletter also an easy way for your team to check on previous newsletter. Encourage them to start blogging and you can offer them other team members’ blog links.
