SFI has thoroughly address both sponsoring and communication with our downline. Effective tools are available to us. A clear schedule of activities is also suggested, from the moment an affiliate registers.
If we use those tools and follow up on the suggestions contained in the various notifications we received that inform us of the progress our affiliates are making, we will find that our needs of communication are satisfactorily met and its content proficient.
By doing so, we also learn and develop our skills, provided that we paying attention, taking advantage of all the training resources at our fingertips, and at no costs to us.
Hence, any lack of skills or experience can be compensated in a relatively short time.
Below, I will expand on the above.
The instant an affiliate registers, we get a notification and suggestions to welcome him or her. We are also provided with links to a draft welcome letter as well as ideas on how to start working with the affiliate. The next day, a recap of all affiliate registrations follows. It is another opportunity to reinforce the welcome message to the affiliate.
Hopefully, by that time, we have started to provide sponsoring support to our new team member
The SFI training modules on sponsoring offer excellent ideas, strategies, suggested activity and sample draft letters that allow a sponsor to effectively communicate with team members.
If sponsors use these tools and communication aids in the right context, they will build excellent business relationships with their team. The tools have to be used appropriately, in the right context and intended circumstances.
The first batch of sample letters is through the Affiliate Snapshot, at the Affiliate Manager. On that page, besides the sample welcome letter, you will find the link to the article “How to be an awesome sponsor”. This document is critical. It provides us with the basics concepts about sponsoring and how to communicate with our PSAs. We need to fully understand these concepts and how their application can help us build a successful business. You will also find there an extensive library of documents covering a wide range of topics, all central to effective communication and building the SFI business. The link below will take you to those slides
