I send a PSA team mail through the PSA mailer each week. SFI regulations allow us to send our PSAs information and suggestions we may not be allowed to send our CSAs and the PSAs that are not in our front line.

Sending a message through the mailer ensures they recieve the message both at there registered email with SFI and at there Affiliate Center. All the messages will still be in thier affiliate mail box for review until they delete it, even if they decide not to get started months down the road.

SFI automatically removes inactive affiliates after a year or if they opt out or if they violate SFI rules. It keeps us in compliance so we are not sending emails to people who have chosen no longer to receive emails from SFI.

If someone is not signing in they probably have little interest in what I have to share anyway. I work with my workers when they ask for help. I answer emails ASAP and reward those on my team if they complete the work as lined out in my leadership blog, and it is required that they send me an email.

Last but not least, SFI immediately rewards the PSA mailer sent weekly, with no review of the message: they are Your Personally Sponsored Affiliates. Work with your workers and send a weekly mail to every PSA at least once each week. Use the PSA mailer, it is a great tool.

It is very important to be in touch with their associates.

I use the weekly PSA mailer. Then I send my associates messages that are important for all of them. Also use SFIs cards to them to welcome or congratulate a success. I inform my team about the latest changes Through the messages in the Stream tab.

I try to not abusive PSA mailer and follow the rules. I hate spam and I care about what and to whom to send. Also try not to overload the SFI technical support of my messages, so I am sending my PSA message via my personal email.

I use my personal mail when sending a message to a single PSA. These messages usually contain both text and links and images and it is much more efficient to use g-mail. I very rarely have a problem with the delivery of mail.

(a) Both the methods have their own advangages. We can directly contact our PSAs if they have confirmed their ‘registration’ . This we can find from the genealogy by seeing a GREEN rectangle. If we see a WHITE rectangle that means our PSA has not yet confirmed his registaration due to message going to SPAM or JUNK BOX. In such cases it is difficult to contact them through direct mail.

(b) On the other hand sending messages though PSAs means we use SFI as the sender of our messages on behalf of us. SFI has better methods to penetrate SPAM & JUNK BOXES and make sure our messages reach to our PSAs

(c) So, in my opinion, we should use both the methods to make sure that we are successful in communicating with our PSAs as well as CSAs. You are never sure which method may work for you depending upon the email id of the PSA/CSA.

If you want to create personal contacts with your PSA specially at the beginning you will want to use direct email address.
For the beginners always send an e-mail. Many beginners do not manage to SFI account and you will need to send them a message on their e-mail to make sure that they are going to read it. Later, when you get a better contact with your PSAs, you can agree to how you communicate via e-mail, SFI messaging, social networks, etc. Be sure to use team mailer for important information you want to forward to all your members.

If you want to send a weekly newsletter, a blurb, or just a pep talk, then the PSA Mailer is fine. But if you really want your PSAs to get started or learn the ins and outs of SFI, then contact them personally via email.
There are options in the genealogy to send mails to your downline you can use any option...through Team-Mail, through e-Mail, or just through their chat when they are available.

Later on, it is better to use the PSA mailer for communication with our downline Affiliates because of two reasons.
1. It is easy and will enable us to gain 30 valuable VPs every week.

2. Our down line will become familiar with the SFI communication systems, they can earn more VPs and will enable them to teach their down line also, to adopt good practices.

In written communication, what matters most is for the message to get to the recipient(s) quickly and intact. For this reason, any time, any day, the PSA Mailer is more preferable as a channel of communication with PSAs than directly via email address because of the following reasons.

1. The message is guaranteed to be delivered.
2. The message is delivered intact and as sent.
3. The message does not risk “failure to deliver.”
4. PSA Mailer is free, easy to use and not cumbersome.
5. The message is delivered to all your PSAs at once irrespective of the number.
6. PSA Mailer is available to use free by all affiliates.
7. It does not risk ending in spam folder.
8. It offers the recipient(s) “opt-out” options.
9. The identity of the sender is very clear.
10. The recipients have no idea who else the message was sent to.
11. It respects the privacy of each recipient.
12. Above all, it is highly recommended by SFI.

From the foregoing, it is easy to discern that in SFI, using the PSA Mailer to communicate downline with your PSAs is better than using direct email.

Contacting PSA's is an important part of a sponsor's/leader's role. Connection is a key element for our business which is about people and guiding people.

Communication is the foundation to how we guide and mentor others. Using the PSA Mailer AND their personal e-mail address are both effective means to connect with your PSA team members.

The PSA mailer is a great time saver. The PSA mailer is a great service that SFI offers to all sponsors to communicate with all your PSA members about a topic that you perceive as a helpful topic for every member (even your CSA's). You simply prepare the PSA message and use the Mailer service with SFI to send it to all your PSA's - this is the same as a Staff/Team Memo so every PSA gets the same message a the same time. This is an effective tool for you to communicate to your PSA team members.

Personal e-mail use is a great way to connect personally with your PSA's. Directly connecting with PSA's is important as the message is individualized and enables you to communicate directly with what is needed by the PSA member rather than using a "general" message for all through the PSA Mailer. Connecting as a one - to- one is important as you then can communicate what is on the minds of each PSA. Personal e-mail is your feed-back method from your PSA's - communication is from the PSA.

Using both will promote your effectiveness as a sponsor/leader for your PSA's so be sure to communicate with them through the TeamMailer and personal e-mail.

You will find that some people like to be contacted through email and others prefer the PSA mailer. The best is to ask in a personal email what method they would prefer. I also make use of social networks, encouraged by the particular member / friend.

SFI business is essentially an internet based business consisting of relentless team work by affiliates or team members.
It is absurd to think that one can start making money immediately after getting enrolled in SFI business community.
SFI gives the main thrust on duplication. That is developing your down line of associates for favor of earning leveraged income in the future. In addition to this, each affiliate has the potential to earn income for the work he is doing directly. In this connection, it is of paramount importance to have dedicated PSAs in your team and each PSA in your team developing their own down line individually for the ultimate benefit of each person in the team.
It is of stellar importance that the team leader has to frequently communicate with all the affiliates in his team effectively. This will definitely go a long way in motivating each team member for optimum action to generate maximum productivity by the team; the earnings will ultimately be apportioned to the affiliates as per the quantum of work done by each affiliate in accordance with the rules of SFI.
Using SFI’s own tool viz. PAS Mailer, group mails or mails focused and addressed to individual members could be sent. This is a very effective tool of communication. Often, the addressee fails to respond to a mail on account of personal problems which might be intentional or unintentional. Language barriers or lack of confidence could be reasons for failing to respond. Directly mailing to the Email address of the respondent is also as effective as the PSA Mailer of SFI.One cannot say which is better. It depends on the situation.
It must be remembered that the team leader should never stop with a single mail going unanswered/unnoticed; he has to repeatedly sent Emails to prompt the expected affiliate to respond. This is no doubt an exacting job requiring a lot of resilience and patience. But remember you can reap rich dividends later if you succeed.
