First and foremost, we know SFI system will send a lot of information to joining Affiliates so with that in mind, I prefer to send something like"

For now, I would recommend that you concentrate on carefully studying all the lessons in Launchpad, and try to answer each and every question.
Then, read Gery Carsons - the Founder/President of SFI's "RULES OF SUCCESS".
(This information is the foundation blocks upon which you will build your business).

Be confident to know that SFI is not a scam, and not a pyramid scheme. BUT know also that SFI is not a 'get-rich-quick' scheme.
Only hardwork, dedication, determination and patience will bring you success..

When doing the first email to your affiliates, it's best just to get acquainted with them. Learn about their why. Find out if they have a full time job or not. Share your SFI story with them. The first email should be more of a meet and greet than a whole litany of things to do right out of the gate. Remember you must build rapport with your team if you wish to build trust and foster a strong business relationship.

Too many affiliates want to jump right to the punch line. Show me the money. Even so, I can show you the money but you have to remember that I have worked long and hard to get to where I am. So in the beginning, you should be more concerned with setting the expectation than getting down to the nuts and bolts. SFI is drop dead simple but still many an affiliate has come here with the idea that they are going to get rich overnight. Not so!

Therefore, the time you take to learn about the disposition of your affiliates will not only show that you care but you can better learn how to present the business to them. Find out if they can afford to invest $36 per month into growing a nice business vs $200 per month. Money is not the deal breaker but it is common knowledge that there are costs to be associated with any profitable enterprise. I feel it is always best to build rapport in the first email and possible even the first 3 emails before you get into the heart of the business.

I think it is more important to connect with them in the first email. All of the advice in the world will be for naught if they don't know you.

I always start with my name and relation to them (Sponsor/Co-sponsor). Then I tell them that I am a real person and offer my help. I don't usually go into details of my offers, contests, etc. in the first email. "They don't care how much you know until they know how much you care."

The goal should simply be to get them to respond. You want them to write back to you. You can't really help anyone until you hear from them. Just be pleasant, friendly and positive. Smile while you write an email, it really comes across in what you say.

I also personalize it to them. I look to see what country/state they are from (find it in their profile by clicking on their name in your genealogy). I look up the most common language in their area and I look up how many people from that country are in SFI (I use a2a to search for members in their country). I then say something like: "Did you know we have over 130 people from Zambia as members? That is just the ones who are registered as a2a members. They are willing (as am I) to help you in any language (including Swahili)."

I always put my contact information at the end. Signing with your name, rank (EA,BTL,etc.) email address (or any other ways you use to contact people, ie: phone # skype, etc.) I sometimes include my Leadership Page link, so they can learn about me with our risking contact.

The more comfortable you can help them feel about talking to, listening to you or even just reading your emails, the more chance you have of helping them grow. Fast-Track or Standing Order are great things to take advantage of, but shoving such advice down their throat when you first talk to them will only get you ignored. Plus it sounds like you only want them to buy something so you can make money off of them.

I believe if you are not out to help others get what they want, you are in the wrong business.

Another way to get a response is to ask them a question. Keep it simple or they won't take the time to answer. Even "How can I help?" can be too much. They may not know yet what they need. Better questions would be do they speak another language, why did they join SFI, what do they like best about SFI, etc. But only one question is best. Too many and they won't answer any.

I really hope this helps. I see so many answers say what advice to give them, but really, you just want to make contact and connect with them in a way that lets you in the door to communicate further. Best Wishes to all.

Hi Michael!
Your first email to your affiliates is your welcome letter. In your welcome letter, you must introduce yourself.
After introducing yourself, you must guide them to get started. Since they don't know where to start. You must tell them:
1. that if English is a problem to them, they must use the'TRANSLATE'which they can find at the bottom right corner of every page.
2. they must check out the buttons on the top right corner under their photo. The Grey 'START', Blue 'SFI BASICS', and Green "LAUNCHPAD'.
a) they must click START and watch the Video,
b) they click SFI BASICS and read it
c) they must click LAUNCHPAD,read it and answer the questions.
Finally, tell them that communication is very important here. They must respond to the messages and they must not hesitate to contact you if they have questions or they need help.
Don't give them too much information because you might confuse or frighten them. As they read SFI BASICS and the LAUNCHPAD, they will get the information in a proper way. Your duty as a sponsor/co-sponsor is to guide them and point them to the right direction. After doing that you'll motivate them and respond to whatever follows.

Good question

I have said it before in forum, most people who sign up for SFI don't have the slightest idea of how SFI work. Many of us just send a welcome letter welcoming them to one of the most legitimate online business and that's all, hahahaha YES we all know SFI it's legitimate and believe me such words will not convince anyone outside because most of these people have fall into such words before and end up losing their money.

You and I know that SFI is legit and you are a member, what are the thing that make SFI legit? Let those answers be part of your welcome letter. Believe me everyone of us join SFI to make some money, so as well the new affiliates. Tell them the truth how SFI work, it's not a get quick rich business, they need patient, time and knowledge with little investment.

When we say time, it's not some hours or days, it could be months or years before they begin to see good results though they still make some few cent/dollars from the day they sing up. Let them know these, it's very important because if after some weeks without good result, you just recruited another inactive PSA.

In a short paragraph explain how SFI work, how to start? What to do? What is require of them every month? Kind of payment method SFI received?. Also, include all your contacts they can reach you on whenever they have questions.

Just introduce yourself and offer assistance, help and support so they get the feeling that they're not alone in this business, they will see it's about teamwork.

Later, you can go with details, one step at a time, as it comes: Fast Track, E365, blog, advertising...

Just be short and try to sound friendly so they start to trust you. This will make good foundation to develop good teamwork, friendship and all that's needed to grow this business successfully.

Be sure to let them know that SFI is not a 'Get Rich Quick' scheme and there income level is determined by the amount of time and effort they put in to the program. Explain that SFI has tips, strategies and free resources for building their online business and they should log in and learn something everyday.

Also remind them of the daily free games and contest available to win valuable VersaPoints, CSA's and TCredits.

In a first email i use to send a short welcome note to a new affiliates.

It containes a video with some first steps,like the first 5 tasks in getting started actions.
That is wery helping for them.

When they sign up on SFI site they are comfused,we have to help them fill their profile and learn the basics first.

I also send them a video with daily actions and t-time game.

Later ,when they know the value of vp,they are thankful that I teach them that from the first day.

It is important too,to leave your contact,email adress ot fb profile for easier communication.

And let them know that U are here for any questions and help about SFI.

Wish them a good work and show them that U are glad that they are in your team.

It is ok to prepare yourself this kind of mail in your computer and when U have a new affiliate yust copy it in mail.

I send them that first mail on SFI mailer and on their e-mails too.
