Hi,
The way you asked this question, I assumed that the affiliate (whether PSA or CSA), no matter how long he has been with the business, has tried his/her "best" effort, at least from his/her perspective.

We must first understand that we are in the business of "helping our affiliates" (PSA/CSA) to be successful so that we could be successful ourselves.In other words, we would only achieve success by helping our downlines to be successful. Thus, if any of my CSA/PSA ever come to me with such question, I would first ask myself if I had done enough in coaching, guiding or giving encouragement to him/her? As a leader, have I noticed the efforts he has been making and have I made efforts to ensure that he felt my presence? And most importantly, have I made him/her understand the concept of duplication and leveraging?

In this business, there is no secret. There are so many helps, such as the forum, which is so rich of information. There are tips and guidance on how affiliate could maintain at least EA status with minimal investment. So, if everything else fails, why not adopt such measures and see if things would improve?

As a last effort, there are no failure unless you quit and quitters never win. With that, the final decision rest with your affiliate but whatever decision he/she takes, you should have your peace knowing well that you have done your best.

Personally, I'd tell him that he can always give up, but I’d asked him to answer me two specific questions first:
1. What is his specific goal (what he sees as his main source of income at the SFI)?
2. What exactly is he doing to accomplish this?
Considering his answers, I'd try to help him to find a way to succeed (somebody* succeeded, so it can be done).

Second, superficial variant, without going into details (which I do not recomend ):
Newer affiliate, I would say that he must try more and work harder.
Someone who is not new and not quite good at it, I would suggest to change his approach (places, techniques of advertising, etc.) because "only the crazy one stubbornly repeats the same action and expects different results. "

Thirdly, there is the rare individual that I would, under the assumption that I am sure that his concept of SFI is really clear, and that he doesnt find himself in it, wish good luck and support his decision.

An affiliate should have a mind of a business person and as such will not quit easily but if he want to quit because nothing is coming from his effort and hard work, he need to know this.

Tell him all he need to know about business:

1. Business cannot be built in days it takes up to 2-3 years for a business that wills grow to stand.
2. Handwork,Patience, persistence and perseverance are the elements of a formidable business.
3. Coming and making it in business is not what matters but staying in business is what is needed.
4. He should not aspire to celebrate the success of the successful affiliate but also aspire to endure the stress and pain they go through in attaining that success.for every successful man pass through what he his going through now.
5. Let him have it in mind that he may sponsor up to 100 PSA and only one might be active for now, some might start off after 6 months while some might never.
6. All roads to success are filled with obstacles, and if you are going on a smooth road be careful for you might not arrive at your success.
5. Finally, prayer is the key to all success, let him turn more to God in prayer and he will succeed. If not a believer in God let him all on WHOM he believe in for intercession.

It is very tricky and delicate situation. There is no universal solution for that situation. Each case is unique, but common to all of them is that we, their sponsors, are very uncomfortable.

Someone gives up after three or four weeks. Then they mostly give up those who work what they want, do not listen to advice and expect a quick buck. There is no such thing as a free lunch. For those who believe in that you shouldn't be pitied. What is the definition of hard work? Someone regularly works daily tasks, sets commercials, plays games, visit the forum. And yet someone is hard to read mail. I've had such PSA three months ago. The guy was highly educated. But ... Constantly he needed support. So he got it from me and my up line. Games were stupid for him, daily tasks were boring for him. Constantly moaned as much work. He submitted to one or two advertisements per day. After a while (three weeks) he gave up. But before that he managed to get me in a very, very unpleasant situation. He insulted people who were so nice to him and help him. I was so ashamed. I thought to give up, but thanks to my upline I did not. They told me: "We are all adults. Who want to work - help him, who don't want to work - let him to go. Your job is that you tell them how - everything else is on them."

It happens that someone has a bad start. You should see where this person is wrong. You might have problems with placing advertisements. Maybe he does not know how to set up a commercial or sets the wrong places. We all have bad periods. Then you need to give that support associate until you pass. Sometimes it's enough to get some rest and relax for a few weeks and he goes after that job.

Keep on trying. More businesses fail because of owners giving up.

Pointing out the benefits can also be helpful. I treat my business as both a shopping experience to support TripleClicks and a way to get a small discount or refund off the items I want to purchase and a place to sell some items I want to sell and a place to recruit other like minded individuals to join me.

If I were to own a restaurant and was a new owner I would have to invest a whole lot more time and a whole lot more money and then if I don't get all of even the tiniest details absolutely perfect and correct I would lose it all.

SFI is a proven working business model that is free and you can investing as much time and as much money as you can afford. Investing only $50 a month for even as long as 2 years to get to a point where you are making money is well worth the effort and the money when you consider that a typical new restaurant owner doesn't make anything for the first 3 to 5 years. Pays a lot more than $1200 to open it. And works 80 plus hours a week.

Perhaps you should send the stressed out affiliate a Gift Card to purchase something with or some T credits to play some games or tell them to take a few vacation days to think it over and go over the best options for them. In the End Thank them for being on your Team and help them with your guidance or your up-line's guidance for we can only demonstrate how to be successful to our Team members their success is ultimately up to them.

We can consider SFI as our own business here. To start our own business we want to invest land, labour, capital and organization. We can develop it only with its own time. We want to study a lot about what business we are doing, how to develop it, what to be done for it etc. First of all we want to set our seat, then only we can move better.
We are doing our business with a small investment with SFI, really our investment with SFI is zero, the reason is that we purchase products that we needed.
Your question is so simple, one who are ready to invest his time and money, and then to refer his friends can win this career easily, but patience is must, because this is our own business. Here our works are so simple, to read and understand about our own business, to get trained from our own platform, to teach our affiliates how to develop team etc, to make some purchase or sales. Here work hard to win our career, just like a student study to win his exam and get his degree.
In another ways, an affiliated started his own business, invested a lot of his own fund, will he wait with patience to develop his business or quit?
So it is better to stay with patience at least for one year, he will win this career, sure. Remember it is easy to quit, but harder is to exist. Here hard work with patience is can give us better result!!

My advice is never to give up on this job. Some members after a few days or a month ago to give up because they can not immediately see your earnings.
In this work, like in any other business can not make money overnight, you have to work more valuable every day, you have a lot to read, nothing falls from the sky without effort.
Every day visit your SFI office.
Perform all daily tasks with to.do list.
Play games, take part in auctions much you can earn.
Each day read the Launchpad.
Place your ads any time, be there for your new members, help them.

When someone "whines" about not getting rewarded for his efforts it simply means that he/she lacks experience.

When I was part of a group who opened a store in our town I was told by other store owners not to expect to see a profit for at least three YEARS. I felt like I had been hit with a very cold and very wet blanket. I really did not like hearing that comment.

After all, he/she were told that SFI is NOT "get-rich-quick", right?

That person needs to "man up" and face reality.

Not everyone has the patience to accept the fact of the "learning curve". I have 671 days in this business and I expect that it will take another 365 days to get to the top of the learning curve for me. For some it may not take that long. For others it may take 4 or 5 years.

Be sure to tell that person that you will be looking at his/her VP Ledger "very soon" and will be sending an email about your findings. And ask if he/she will read your email.

"Whiners", such as the above, are most likely tire-kickers who should not be in your down line.

->not getting any money,
-> have to read more,
-> lack of interest,
-> no proper guidance(no knowledge in english)
-> Lack of convincing skills
-> not interested to invest,
-> want easy and quick money,
-> don't want to do much hard work etc.

But coming to your question, I think there may not be drop outs as far as they are really putting their efforts with hard work. Though they have and dropped out means they may have any other problem not that just because of earnings.

For this sfi business for an affiliate requires lot of patience, confidence and belief. If they don't have these qualities then they will quit from it.
