Hi Sean,

Knowing the skills of your team members is not just reading their profiles. You should ask them what their interests and skills are. Knowing your affiliates and being in contact with them is a major part of building a successful SFI business. If you are not willing to take the time to know them they will not feel that you are there to help them. Here are some suggestions:

1. Send them a personal email, this could even be your welcome email, and ask them what they are good at, what skills they have that could help them with their business.

2. If they have proved a telephone number make an appointment to speak with them and ask them questions about themselves.

3. Have them complete a survey. You could set this up for free on a site such as Survey Monkey.

4. If possible meet with them, have a cuppa and a chat about their interests and skills.

Having direct contact with your team members is the best way to build your business and help them succeed. If you think they are going to join and do this without your help you will struggle to be successful.

You actually don't have to focus on weeding out the affiliates in your team that possess the skills that could help them become stars in SFI. There are no specific skills that one needs to be successful at SFI; they simply have to work hard and take the initiative to ask for help from their upline when they need it. The star affiliates will naturally make themselves known when they make the effort to log in everyday and complete their actions, as well as when you see them purchasing from TripleClicks, playing the Eager Zebra games and participating in the PriceBenders auctions. When you look at your MOVERS tab and see their names listed there consistently it will become clear to you that those are the affiliates with the potential to excel in this program.

1. This could be identified with their response to our welcome letter, not directly, but indirectly by performing the activities we had asked them to do. Listening and acting upon are the key factors.

2. By monitoring their VP Ledger every day.

3. By seeing their snap shot in the movers tab.

4. By seeing their badges, whether they are logging in daily – Daily VP streak badge will tell. We can see in the “Movers” tab too, how long ago they’ve logged in.

5. Their participation in other activities like playing games, taking part in auctions, with their respective badges we can identify.

6. Thru Genealogy report, we can see how they’ve developed their team.

7. We can insist them where they can even concentrate more.

8. We need to study where the lack.

9. We need to monitor carefully, slowly and steadily.

10. They should not feel that we’re forcing them.

11. We need to treat them as our close friends and get the work done. It should be more fun making and enjoyable.

12. We need to assist them in the key areas where they lack like team building, selling, marketing, advertising etc.

13. We need to persuade a habit of participating in the forum, get live training and enjoy.

14. We need to ask them to read internet income lessons from Training tab.

15. We need to encourage and appreciate even on smaller achievements, or even for listening to us.

16. They should come forward hand in hand to read, lead, learn and earn.

To identify their skills, go through their profiles and also check what they are doing.
Remember, you can't identify something that you don't know. First and foremost is to know which skill/s are needed that could help your affiliates become stars in SFI. You must also have a knowledge and/or vision on how are they going to use that/those skill/s to make them to be stars in SFI.
The main skills that are needed are selling, recruiting and leading. But because SFI is too broad, some affiliates also uses games, auctions bidding, etc to be stars.
To be able to identify the skills, you need to know the skills needed and how to use them to be a star in SFI. After identifying them, point out to your affiliates and start helping them in a right direction.

Hello All :)

For me that is just a question of talking with my PSAs..
If I had to guess, then I would guess wrong, but if I ask the PSAs what their positives and negatives are then I cannot go wrong..

I would just ask them.. Tell them that if you know their positives you can help them to use that positive into building a profitable business,,

Tell them you can help them with their negatives also.. Two people know more then one, A whole team knows almost everything..

When talking about things like this with your PSAs you will automatically bond with your PSAs and vice versa.. That will translate into a great working team..

You must have the skills yourself to identify affiliates the skills that could help them become stars in SFI. You can't expect to identify something you are not familiar with.

You are looking for affiliates who are go-getters. It is easy to identify the skills of a go-getter.

A go-getter don't waste time, once he/she understands what needs to be done, he gets down to it and just do it.

An affiliate who constantly ask questions, directions, and guidance suggests an eager learner who knows what to ask, when to ask, and what to look for has the communication skills crucial to helping the affiliate become a star in SFI.

If your affiliates have been in SFI longer than a month, their current current activities will be shown by the number of Badges earned. Their badges will also help you identify a particular skill such as Top Enroller, for having recruiting/sponsoring skill, a Forum Badge and Forum Guru Badge will show affiliates with communication skills who also enjoy sharing their skills with others.

You can also identify affiliates with I.T. skills by the ease with which they start a blog, a webpage, or advertise SFI and TC products online.

Once you're able to identify these skills that you also possess, helping your affiliates to become SFI stars will be rewarding and fulfilling.

This is a very interesting question and I guess it will also elicit very interesting answers. Many affiliates may be looking for many good skills in their affiliates while others may not even bother at all. For me, the following are the skills I look for in affiliates which I believe can quickly help them to become stars in SFI.

1. Good communication skills.

3. Willingness to learn.
4. Self-motivating skills.
5. Keen attention to details.
6. Good reading skills.
7. Good marketing skills.
8. Ability to take risks.

It is initially difficult especially as new members but as they start to work their businesses, you will be in a better position to see through those skills by:

1. Knowledge and understanding is the best indication of a star, so when you see affiliates who are smart and fast in understanding how this system works and really apply these to a good run in their work, then it means there could be other reasons why such affiliates should not be stars, like personal problems or lack of funds.

2. Going through their Affiliate Profiles, looking for some marketing skills and experience they have regarding this kind of businesses.

3. Though money may not be sufficient to make you a star but it may be necessary to use it to employ the services of stars that will show you how to become a star. What I mean here is looking at the Affiliate Profiles for the monthly amount they are willing to invest in building their SFI businesses. A huge budget will give an indication on how far such affiliates are willing to go.


4. With little or no assistance, you will see the eagerness to be fully engaged in various activities like sales, sponsoring and referrals, by asking very intelligent, meaningful and very challenging questions on various aspects of this business.

5. You will also be able to get an indication of future stars by monitoring their personal contributions and participation in the Ask SC, Forum and a2a network.

6. Again these set of affiliates have the hunger and determination to succeed, so they may be in constant touch with you and members of their upline to tap into the wealth of experience available.

7. Future stars have the potential to reply important and professional messages from members of their upline, with high degree of distinctiveness and probity.

8. Some of them that have money do not waste too much time investing, after figuring out what this business entails.

9. They also poses team leadership skills which you will access by the way they are building their team, including their duplication skills and how deep they are building.

10. Actually, a star cannot be suppressed or hidden for longer than necessary, so it will be easy to see in your Movers the potential stars after the fog of joining as a new member settles, so be in touch with your Movers because the future stars will certainly be there.

To conclude, there is a difference between a future star and actually becoming a star, the difference is the ability to overcome obstacles, so you have a continuous duty to realise your potential stars, instead of taking your eyes off them once you have identified then as future stars.

All Affiliates are potential stars.

They were looking for something to change their lives weren't they? They signed up. Therefore definitely got potential.

How you advise, interact & encourage your Affiliates will determine whether or not they become stars, & how quickly they do so.

Some may not immediately. I read somewhere on here that one PSA had an affiliate that did absolutely nothing but sign-in for the first 2 or 3 years (just enough to not have their account closed). The all of a sudden, they realized what they were tapping into & became Platinum Team Leader in a matter of a couple of months! Even the inactive affiliates have the potential to become a star. Never, ever give up on them.
