If we are greedy we will come across as being greedy.

It is not easy to hide this fact as your focus will be only on how to get more. You have to just be honest from the beginning. I think if we change our focus from making more, to helping more we will not seem greedy, why try convincing one we are not greedy? is my question.

This attempt takes us away from the reality of the business concept entirely. No one joins SFI to convince anyone they are not greedy. Most join because they finally found something they truely believe in enough to share with others.

Once we have ourselves convinced we have discovered a way to earn income from home online we have a true story to share. Just stating the facts about SFI, and asking the right questions from the start will tend to lead us to those we prefer.

I think by taking the time to develop a relationship is the best approach to enrolling new persons. This will give us the opportunity to share at some point in our conversations.

I prefer the direct approach in a timely manner.

Something like:

I'm earning an income online and have not had to invest any money before I joined.

I started earning income within 2 months, and was surprised to see my earnings begin to grow, and I had not sold any product, or asked to spend any money at all.

Now that I realize income can be earned online without investing anything but time, it is a good feeling knowing I can earn more if I invested more.

I do not mention anything about points or credits when sharing one on one unless they ask how did I get paid.

This is when I let them know if they are not seriously interested there is no need to go over it, but the SFI company does a very good job explaining the business to those who join and many are successful business owners.

I just made up my mind to treat this just like it would be if I was working a traditional job putting in 8 hours for someone else. I sometimes put in well over 8 hours a day, but this is my choice, and I also enjoy what I'm doing.

After sharing passion for doing this business, this may open up another door, if not, let it go. If the answer is a "Yes!"

I put the right questions:

Are you really seriously interested in earning income from home?

If so; "Do you have 4 to 8 hours to spend online while learning how promoting products and gain customers?

Usually those 2 questions will help weed out those we do not desire.

We will waste more time, and wander off focus if we attempt to prove what is not in existence.

What we want is seriously determined individuals who display a real interested trait.

Just keeping our focus on building stronger teams will be sufficient.

This is an honest question. All you need to do is to tell the benefits and how it will enhance their businesses and thus their income.
Normally i tell my team about its importance and what they gain from it. What do i tell them?
1. I tell them that to really earn well they have to be Executives
2. They earn in 6 ways rather than an affiliate with 2 ways: launchpad 7 talks about this. The 6 ways are:
a. PSA purchases-45%
b. Tripleclicks Sales
c. PPA Sign ups- $10/ sign up
d. ECA sales-10%
e. CSA reassignment and purchases- 15%
f. Having shares in the Tripleclicks Executive Pool.
I let them understand all these benefits. They were the very reason why i became an EA. Then i add that being an Executive is the only way that leads to much income because without that they can't rise in the company
3. There are other perks and benefits that only are given to Executives e.g free Tcredit and CSAs
4. Then i tell them of what they can do with their investment teaching them how to make back their money with interest e.g through auctions
Each time i give them the above, they get encouraged to do so teaching them the various ways to do it that won't cost them much e.g the 10 singly Tcredit for $18.90 and they go for it

On a personal level I tend to pull back the moment somebody try to convince me to do something. If you want me to do something give me the facts and trust me to be intelligent enough to make an educated decision. If I still do not spend money it does not mean I can't see the advantages, it just means my personal circumstances does not allow me to spend money right now.

I am not unique enough to be the only person on this planet to think and act like that. With this in mind I would suggest you tell them about the advantages of spending money - the disadvantage they will know already because they know their personal circumstances.

Do not try to sweeten the deal, it still comes down to convincing / manipulating.

Having said that, not all people are about the bottom line. If that was true you would not see all the great adverts on TV. These adverts convince people to buy things they do not need and can not afford. So guess what? You have to cater for these people as well.

Taking these things into consideration the ideal would be that you know your affiliates well enough to know what will get their attention. Since that is not always the case you can try to use both ways.

Start with the facts and after that a less formal piece - like: Just imagine sitting at home in front of your computer and making a few clicks and all your monthly cleaning products and vitamins are delivered to you. No walking through isles. no long queues, no buying items you do not need. OR - you have somebody's birthday coming up and you want to buy a unique gift that you won't find in any retail shop - your answer? Triple Clicks! And as a bonus you are rewarded with VP and MRP.

You do not need to motivate your downline. For starters you should not be referring to them as your downline as if they are below you. These are real people on your team and they will be responsible for their own teams. Your job is to lead your team in such a way that they will want to duplicate what you have done. The best way to this is through value. Are you following the pattern of an awesome sponsor? Does your team value your leadership? Have they benefited? Does it show in the ratings and comments they give you?

Your question suggests these are PSAs or CSAs that are already EA or EA2 and you wish to see them maintain. Great! We all want to build an active team of PSAs and CSAs. First you must be in a position to offer them something of value. Something that would motivate them to achieve a desired result.

You need to practice the way of give - not the way of get. Most want to know what they can get. You need to be different by giving of yourself of your time and resources.

What I would do is patiently wait for an active PSA to show and offer FREE entry into your Co-op to receive PSAs in rotation from your sources. First you will set the qualifiers because you don't want to start a team of PSAs that become dependent on you. I would require that they be Gold Fast-Track Members and make EA2 before the 10th of any given month. For every month they accomplish this you would enter them in your FREE Co-op the start of the following month - on a month by month basis. If they are not a Fast-Track Member then I would require they make EA2 before the 10th of the month and TL before the end of the month.

Now if they can not do either of the two above to build their team then they would need to rely solely on their own merits to accomplish the same. Making EA2 without a 1500 min. Standing Order in place is very easy to do and many will work that way. If they remain caught up in that cycle month after month without ever breaking from it they will eventually lose interest and give up anyway. You must maintain working with and investing in the workers. The more someone is vested the more staying power they will have and be less likely to quit.

If you are investing in your business in every way to give back to your team this is a win win for all and you will not in any way be perceived as greedy.

Simple Answer: You Don't!

SFI Training tells you this is a bad idea as every time the affiliate logs into the SFI back office SFI reminds them about not having a standing order and educates them on the value of becoming an EA2 every month.

No additional push is required.

You might mention the items you have bought and reviewed this month, or send out a list of the best value standing order items you have found on TripleClicks but give it as information to help them grow their business not as a sales pitch to fill your wallet.

Another thing to keep in mind is focus.

While it seems nice to get a rapid commission shortly after a new team member joins and hopefully get that bit of earnings every month, but a PSA who invest in PSA to Go or other SFI Co-Op Advertising might benefit you more and for a lot longer. Even if the items they purchase are not commission earning if they help the build a massive team both wide and deep you can earn more off their success than a commission off a single standing order.

After 13 months of being active again in SFI I now get nearly 1/3 of my income from matching VP and it's the fastest growing area of my business. In time the PSA who generate all these referrals that have stretched my business 4 levels deep and counting will earn me thousands of dollars while my Direct Commissions are still just a few hundred dollars a month.

Is it worth it to me to wait 6 months to a year for their action to gain traction before getting a good return on my investment getting them into SFI? Yes it is because the greater long term reward is what I am here for, not fast money.

Simply said that would be the the free CSAs you get every month. Granted that it is only 2 CSAs but that's more than zero which will help you towards your Team Leader activities. Plus whatever your CSAs buy, you will get Co-Sponsor Commissions. I'm sure you don't want to lose out on that.

What else can you get? Obviously the TC Executive Pool. What's that? Every item being sold in TripleClicks has a CV value. And 40% of the CV is being placed into the TC Executive Pool which will be shared with all EAs company-wide! Cha-ching! More income to you.

There you go. You talk about the benefits to them. Nothing greedy in that right? You want them to succeed.

Executive Affiliate status (EA) is the first rank towards Team Leader. We know the reward: Two co-sponsored Affiliates to help the EA starting building their team. It opens for them the opportunity to send the weekly TeamMail and earn additional Action Points.

EA status enlightens the Affiliate on the merits of good work ethics and the value of sponsoring to grown one's downline.

As an SFI Business owner, I see my EA status in light of the benefits it affords me. I do not see it as benefiting my sponsor per say, let alone at as greed motivation from his part. I am the one who benefits the most from my EA status.

It is my opinion that an affiliate should be grateful to their sponsor. After all he is the one who introduced them to this opportunity. I do not agree with the affiliate who complain that their sponsor is not devoting time to them, is not helping them, is not answering their questions. For me, most of the answers are already available. Working to find them helps us retain the answer and give us the ability to convey the same information to our own affiliates it they were to ask us similar questions.

Likewise, investing to gain and maintain EA status is to our own benefits more than to our sponsor. If my sponsor advises me to invest and work to maintain my EA status, I would see it as a favor from him, motivated by his interest to see me succeed; definitely not as greed from his part.

You, as a sponsor, you should focus on helping your affiliates see the benefits and the gains they will enjoy by reaching, and maintaining their EA status. This should be your focus. If you genuinely have your affiliates's best interests, your own gains will not come into the picture, to give them any thoughts about greed from your part.

EA status is only the beginning. Real success, sizable commissions and substantial residual income require the Affiliate to move forward, make greater progress, reach high ranks while developing their own team.

It is your role as a sponsor to show them the merits, help them visualize the benefits and the rewards of doing so.

I would tell them:

Do tell me your situation, goals & how much time &/or money you are willing to put towards building your business. You can go the free way, but, it would take a lot of work & time to build.

Investing small amounts each month in your business is a lot quicker and much more effective. (However, there is no compulsion to do so at any time) As they say, "You reap what you sow". Fortunately, with this business even small investments bring forth big results.

The difference between the two scenarios is simple. Going the free way, would be a long, tedious, painful way to go and the end result may not be what you are wanting it to be. It's somewhat like trying to hammer a nail in a wall with your bare hands...will take a long time to do (if you do manage to accomplish it), would be a lot of work, painful and maybe even a bit bloody.

However, if you decide to go along with the SO - it would be like trying to hammer a nail in the wall with a hammer - 100% guaranteed results, quick, comparatively effortless and efficient.

I leave it for you to decide which way you wish to go. :)

The amazing thing about this system that is set up with SFI is that if a person is either directed by you or self motivated you can become pretty excited from the starting gate. So those that have that right from the start, realize, as they see all the free stuff coming at them, that this is a pretty good opportunity and will strive for success.

The problem is that most people are not self motivated or there is a language problem so they are not getting the value that is in front of them. Therefore it is up to you to lead by example. Your badges should be an example as well as your own personal stories of success and enthusiasm should be going down to them letting them know of all the benefits that are there's if they become an EA. It is not about you in this exchange it is about them, if it comes across any other way then you have lost the meaning of teamwork and team building, we don't break each others backs climbing to the top we outstretch our hands and help them up!

The simple answer is this: You don't encourage your downline to spend money to maintain EA status--you encourage your downline to promote TripleClicks products to make the sales necessary to maintain EA status. After all, that route earns them a commission as well. However, it *is* worth buying the products that you promote so that you can be adequately educated in what they are, how well they work, and generally have a good idea of how to best promote them. Also, it can be worth buying the marketing materials if you don't know what you yourself would write. In fact, some of these make for part of an excellent standing order. You can also encourage your affiliates to engage in "transfer buying," purchasing what they might otherwise purchase in other stores on TripleClicks instead. These, too, make excellent standing orders because they can also save money in the process.

Remember, we're here to help our downlines, and this is just one more way we can do this.
