Is it better to build a team within your own spoken language and environment...or go beyond these boundaries ?
Hello,
Building a team is a serious matter. Of course it is easier to initially communicate with people from their environment and state.
In this case, the start of construction of the team linked to their environment.
But you should not be limited only to your area, but should advertise in all countries of the world - because you do not know who will be your new member.
In this business there is no limit!
Good luck!

I employ a mixed strategy when it comes to building a team. Certainly, with those who share my language and my native culture, I can easily communicate, and that means the process of duplication becomes much easier. However, doing so also limits my market and my audience, so at least some of my contacts will always be elsewhere in the world. I would say that I prefer about 80% of my team to be of similar language and background, with the remaining 20% be of international origin.
Personally because I only speak English. I work with English Speaking people.
I also make new members aware of the great translator SFI provides.
I send all new members a Welcome ECard Via SFI telling them that I have transferred them to One of our Team Leader's that will be able to support them better than I can with understanding their native tongue and being able to answer any questions they may have.
This is the spirit of Team Building. Supporting my down line.
Once every 2-3 months I send an e Card asking if any of my team would be willing to support new members that speak their native tongue. I will reassign these members underneath them.
Cheers.

The easiest and most practical way would be to have a team that speaks your language and are facing the same obstacles as you. it would also make direct communication in same time a lot easier. You can arrange workshops and a get together.
Having said that - it would limit your market. Making contact with people all over the world, having them on your team can prove problematic if there is a language barrier but you can find ways around that. It can also be very exciting end profitable and a challenge - so I feel - why limit yourself.
Maybe you can start close to home and then gradually expand your team to other countries.

Hallo Marija. I will say simply: Go beyond all the boundaries. Mr. Gery is a very successfgul man because he is boundless, his Organisation is every where. Second, why stay in one place in a world where almost every one has an Internet, can speak English and SFI has all the languages? Give every one a Chance in the world and become successful with a successful worldwide Team!
All best!!!
I feel You should not limit your self, With so many people, are on the web doing all kind of things you never know who you may meet, Also It is Good to have people from all around the world,It will help you grow a strong, Team and You well have people to help teach you and your group from all around. This is where you will make friends for life.
Building a team within your comfort zone is fine, but it won't give much exposure and growth in you.
Comfort and safety doesn't really cause much commotion and it gets boring. When you go beyond any boundary it will be chaotic, because you're moving into uncharted territory.
So, I encourage you to go beyond to explore your full potential. The more pressure you get the higher you'll spring up to the occasion.
Building a Team within one's own spoken language and environment will definetely be more advantageous and fruitful, because the Team Leader/Sponsor will be in a position to speak to them and discuss problems they have in a much more suitable and amiable manner.
Presently most of the affiliates assigned to a sponsor are from various countries having differing ethnic culture and languages whom find it extremely difficult to converse in the English language and hence drop out.

I will advice you build a team beyond boundaries. this is because, while you have certain advantages with building a team within a particular environment and language, it relatively limits your field of exploration. However, with the proper motivation and devotion, the field is limitless with a diverse environment. this though will mean more work and you may need to go through the stress of translating your messages to other languages. Nevertheless, I still think it's worth the stress.
Well lucky for me English is my first and only language, so that can take me into many countries other than my own. The fact is I will go anywhere the internet connects to in this world…why??? because SFI has made it possible for us to do this. The language translate button at the bottom of each affiliate page is such a huge breakthrough for each and every one of us! If I happen to be communicating with someone that does not have English as their first language I use Google Translate and send them a letter in their own language for easier communication.
