Running an online home-based business like SFI can also be very isolating for some. SFI Affiiates who are on their own, or are confined to a wheelchair, or are living in a remote area- they feel the need for socializing more than those who are in a different circumstances and environment.

Some of us have become truly addicted to the Forum. When the Forum was being reorganized and not available, a majority of us, if not all, have missed it and also missed the fun, the fight, discussions and camaraderie of friendly Forum users.

But most of all, the important reason of visiting the SFI Forum daily is to get an update of important events of the day and read what others are saying, read the different opinions and feedback, comments and advice on several issues that matter to us.

Hi Marija!
There are many reasons that make it important to visit SFI forum daily. I will just state few reasons that are important to me. The badges are not a reason, they are just bonuses to decorate my profile and proof to my downline that I do participate in the forum. Your question is about the forum. I will include the Ask SC as well because they both did wonders for me.
My main reasons is that:
>>I'm what I'm today because of reading the forum and Ask SC. My sponsor and Co-Sponsor didn't help.
>>Since I got help from the forum and Ask SC and became what I'm today, I'm also giving it back to help others to be more than what I'm through the forum and Ask SC.
>>Always when I read in the forum and ASK SC, I gain something new.
Especially these days, since SFI is upgrading a lot. It is very important to participate in the forum. If there is something that you missed, you'll get it in the forum. If there is something that you don't understand, even on these upgrades, you'll get clarification in the forum.

The reason I go to the Forum daily is to get new information from other Affiliates.

I start by looking at the Categories and Titles for new newsletter ideas. Since I am a fairly new Affiliate I often have difficulty thinking of ideas for my weekly newsletter. But at the Forum I have at my fingertips a huge library of material written by senior Affiliates of SFI.

Also if there is a question about anything, I can search for the answer to my problem. If the answer isn’t there I can ask the question and often within minutes someone will give me an answer.

The SFI Forum is a living and breathing entity. Always growing and changing and worth every minute that you spend reading its’ contents.

Also, depending on the access level of a user or the forum set-up, a posted message might need to be approved by a moderator before it becomes visible.

Now coming to your question, we need to visit SFI forum daily for the following few reasons:

1. We are in the SFI Internet business. Its our own business. So we need to learn about it more and more.

2. There are many ways to learn about SFI business. Many instruction are given in To-do-List daily. We have SFI Tools etc. we also have various Tabs on SFI Home page to learn a lot.

3. But what we cannot learn from SFI homepage, can be learnt immediately within few minutes of posting in SFI forum. You need to write your concern and tens of experienced forum members will help support and guide you on form.

4. In addition to your own question, you can see what other members are asking and learn more about SFI business.

5. I personally have learnt more from Forum posts that reading about SFI from somewhere else. Therefore, I strongly recommend that all affiliates, especially the New entrants should visit SFI forum daily to learn more & more information on SFI.

6. Any subject that is introduced newly in SFI or tripleClicks is discussed in SFI forum. This gives us all the more reasons to come to SFI forum daily and update ourselves.

If you have been involves with Network Marketing activities before, their question is similar to yours - "Why do we need to attend meetings after meetings ?"

The purpose it to generate the excitement and busyness so that the "new one" will feel the atmosphere and want to do something about it too.

Visiting the Forum will enable you to have a chance to understand some of the hot topics at the present moment, be it good or negative.

You also get a chance to mingle with some really serious players of the company including the CEO, Gary Carson.

You will also be able to find ways to address your issue or query so that someone will give you the answer you need, in case your Sponsor is not very active.

You will also be able to exposed yourself by displaying your talent, skills or enthusiasm.

End of day, it is a win-win situation as a business owner in SFI and not having a place to receive "intelligence" about the industry do not make sense at all.

The forum is one of the best places inside of SFI for getting tips, advice and encouragement from other members that you can then share with your team members to help them get more active.

I love that SFI has the most recent posts on the Alerts tab. That encourages me to hop over to the forum and participate more often.

The Internet landscape changes all the time. Some people are more adept at learning the changes and share their information in the forum. So you can find out new ways to advertise, new social networking sites to hang out at, and you can build relationships with other, more experienced SFI members there too.

All of this is important to building a strong, successful business!
