Many of us complain that our team members do not reply to our e-mails or do not act on the e-mail we send, but one of the reasons this may be the case is because they do not even receive them. However, you need to ensure they at least receive the mails by following the steps:
1. You can e-mail your team members who joined SFI after August 30, 2011 without any condition or problem, however, those that joined before then need to confirm their registration before you can e-mail them. You may therefore need to encourage these members, using team mail, to confirm their registration in order to be sure they can now receive your e-mails. You will know those who have not confirmed their registration by checking on their VP Ledgers or on your genealogy.
2. You need to then check on the status of the e-mail addresses provided by your team members on joining SFI. The colour of the envelop symbol located before the chat and notes symbols on each row of your genealogy denotes the following:
Green- Affiliate's e-mail has been confirmed as good, so there is a very good chance that your e-mails will be received.
Yellow- Affiliate's e-mail is questionable (messages returned as undeliverable, likely for an impermanent reason: i.e. inbox was full, server was down temporarily, etc.). You may need to reach this categories of team members by other means and encourage them to supply alternative e-mail addresses, if the problem persists.
Red- Affiliate's e-mail has been confirmed as undeliverable or invalid, so you also need to encourage them to supply deliverable e-mails.
White- Affiliate's e-mail has not been confirmed, so you may need to be patient for SFI to confirm the e-mail before you start sending e-mails to them. This means the status need to change to green to be sure that your e-mails will be received when sent.
Note that some of these bad e-mails were supplied as a result of team members being unsure of what is going to happen going forward as new members, so some may supply better e-mails as they progress and know what this business is about, or alternatively you may have to facilitate the process.
3. Another thing you need to do is to ensure that they have whitelisted all necessary SFI related e-mail addresses, including yours. You may need to teach those who do not know how to whitelist by referring them to the 'Instructions for Whitelisting
[email protected]' here: https://www.sfimg.com/Reference/emailhelp
The link above provides instructions on how to whitelist and the e-mails addresses to be whitelisted, including yours. The instructions further explain how this can be done on YAHOO, Gmail, AOL, HOTMAIL/MSN, COMCAST and REDIFFMAIL.
These are the basics actions you need to ensure before you can be sure your e-mail messages are received by your CSAs and PSAs, but whether they will open and read them is an issue for another day.
