In on-line businesses, the person prospecting is not face to face with the person prospected. This is a tricky situation having both the positive and negative intonations. Positive in the sense that whatever you want to say you can do so frankly and in a forthright way. Negative aspect is: A prospect is 'GLASS WITH CARE.' It means that he/she needs to be handled very subtly. The precautions we have to follow mandatorily are:
i Kindly find out he or she is interested at all in the online business
ii. When you get a positive nod, 50% of your job is over. Then you need to find out
what is the area more interesting for him/her. Fortunately enough in SFI we have
a various types of fields(Games, Pricebenders Auctions, Going into field and
speaking to people--say for admission as TCA--particicipating for discussion (S.C.
Forum)etc.,Now you take them to different areas and see that they select the area
for themselves and not you.
iii.Then you can start guiding them in the field they are interested.
iv. In all the above points, any hastiness, impatience, or indiscretion on our part can turn the prospect away from us. So, this is the one area there is possibility for
losing the prospect and during early part of business.. This is before starting &
during early part of business.
II.a. When the business has commenced and it is reaching a turning pointi.e,from one to the other status or category, we will deliberately confine ourselves to advisory role rarher than enforcing role. You and I are not aware of the circumstances in which a particular affiliate is working nor are we aware of their constraints. It would be wise enough to restrain ourselves to a leading or guiding role. This is one area where
the Affiliate will get annoyed very easily and turn away from us. For one thing, it will be a volta-face for us and secondly--and more significantly, we will be losing
perhaps a very good Affiliate, not only for us for S.F.I itself!
b.Yes! I see your point that you and I are worried about our elevation to the next level. But mind you Affiliate is always right. Allow him the benefit of doubt to find his way dearer to him. More often than not this will be happening. So, in this aspect we need to be highly guarded and be keenly circumspect.
c.After all an Affiliate is not our subordinate. He is one of our junior leaders in the hierarchy. A mild person may spare you once or twice, but an assertive type of Affiliate simply walks away. Kindly never ask the affiliate to move quickly in the direction we desire. This is going to be the biggest turn-off to be avoided.
