According to me, both works may be time is the difference.
If you are able to sponsor hundreds of new PSAs every year, it means that you have good network and convincing skill. Also, it means that you are able to talk about SFI and convert them into PSA. When you have PSA, just teach them duplication and sure that atleast 10% to 25% will follow and try to succeed which benefits you.
In other case, where you try to focus few of your EA about duplication, which will also result in building good base and help you succeed and they see success as well.
Finally, it is a WIN-WIN situation in both the case and wish you good luck!

It is much better to teach smaller number of EAs to each develop EAs themselves, but to have that smaller number of EAs, you have to sponsor hundreds of new PSAs!
Like you know, only a few people are really ready to work (most of 5% - even less), so it is very important to have large number of PSA, in order to increase chance of workers among them!
And when you find your worker - then give everything from yourself to help them build his / her team, and so on...

It is much better to teach smaller number of EAs to each develop EAs themselves, but to have that smaller number of EAs, you have to sponsor hundreds of new PSAs!
Like you know, only a few people are really ready to work (most of 5% - even less), so it is very important to have large number of PSA, in order to increase chance of workers among them!

I'd say to teach the handful of EAs you do have to develop EAs of their own.
It's one thing to have a bunch of PSAs under your wing, but chances are...most will crash and burn before they even have the opportunity to take flight. Some won't even start their engines before they get the ball rolling, either! In layman's terms, most PSAs get their few points for that day...then they drop off the face of the earth.
In terms of your goal in having a successful business, it would be best to choose the latter. Quality over quantity, I must say.

The PARETO PRINCIPLE is that 20% of your efforts determine 80% of the results, and 80 % of that which consumes your time brings 20% of the results ; So rather spend your time and effort on that which brings the BIGGEST reward.
That much said I believe that to teach Smaller numbers of EA's will bring much bigger reward over time BUT IT TAKES LONGER and it id HARDER to accomplish
To sponsor PSA's is LESS EFFORT but it takes a lot more PSA's to achieve the same results.
My conclusion is therefore DO BOTH , 80% of your efforts on getting and teaching EA's and 20% on getting PSA's

I would not advice you to do the first way by just ettting as much PSA as possible, if they are not active, they will not bring you in any money. so the better way is to grow a small but very active team of affiliates to make the full duplication process with you and starting their own duplications. you need to teach them good, so they can do the same with their new PSA!

If your Goal is to Grow…then Build….Sooner rather than later your EA's are going to become Teachers themselves because you have taught them, so why not continue to Grow your team. Because the sky is the limit with SFI, you don't have to stop. A store does not close just because it has reached its monthly sales, no…it will stay open and hope for some more sales. It is a challenge to help people become successful so continue to grow and you will feel rewarded as well as your teammates will be thankful for the opportunity to achieve!

Why? You only need five really active PSAs to maintain their EA level, and then mentor them to each sponsor five and so on to reach a really profitable income goal.
Also, it's easier to train a smaller group of people so you're not overwhelmed by a lot of questions at once. Compare it to a teacher with a class of students; smaller is always better.
You also want your active EAs to be able to duplicate your methods. They may get overwhelmed if they think they have sponsor hundreds of PSAs themselves if they see that's what you're doing.

Which would be better and why? In my opinion I think that it would be better to sponsor affiliates then concentrate on the ones who show promise. But do not forget the ones who you have sponsored. Some of them may become active and then you can help them to become and EA or above.
No matter which you choose offer support to all of your affiliates.
