Good question, I think you can spoil your affiliates by spoon feeding them.
Being a Sponsor you want to answer their questions and let them know what they are behind on by just looking at their Ledger, you can tell right away if someone don't understand their To Do list and everyday actions. As a Sponsor or Co-Sponsor, your goal is to recruit and Train.
I think no.
YOu send PSA and CSA mailer every week and you can see your genealogy who is active and who no.
Active members will accept all of your help and in my opinion that you can communicate with them also private way like message center or by skype maybe social network.
Inactive members maybe delete your messages but may they read. If they read the day can come when they reactivate theirselfes. So I think preferably help it couldn't be too much.
I think the thing that helps more an Affiliate is your example!
You can send regular mail address, you can chat, you can recommend but, in the end, all of them look over his head to see if they have made the right choice to follow you.
Keep updated your Leadership Page, make your everyday actions in To-Do-List and always learn new things every day.
In my opinion is NO, If I helping helping too much my affiliates generally for all work like that do the basic works, log ins and purchase/sales of Tripleclicks products by my money etc..., for his/her, i encourage his/her lazy, will create lack of interest, they can missed the experience and knowledge of this business. But occasionally i do this type of help and support them.
As a SFI sponsor, i give the continues knowledge support, training for them work solely.
In some, time they struggle to survive in this business give the financial support like this Tripleclicks T-credits,TC Gift Certificate for them.

Helping our affiliates is strengthening our team. Helping could be teaching and training to the affiliates. It's a foundation for our business. we should help to our affiliates if they needs any information or clarification. So, We must help to our affiliates always, there is no too much in helping to our affiliates.
Hi, that is good question.
For first let him know that irrespective of what kept him away for such a time, you are very pleased to see him back and that more importantly, it is better late than never.Tell him what he missed the time he was absent will not be a barrier to his future success here, that all what he needs to succeed are still intact and that you are here to assist and guide him, because you only succeed when he succeeds. Also say to him that it is extremely important to let out his mind when in any difficulty moving forward and include your Leadership Page link and email address for contacting you.

It is very important to be a great support to each member of the team ,but as the time go passing by, I think that most important thing is to learn them how to learn business , not only to click buttons and check the scoreboard. The most important lesson for them is to realize that only the knowledge will help them in success .Best regards,
My first reaction to your question was NO! it is not possible to help too much. Then I thought about it a bit and now I want to say - the answer is YES and NO.
If you do your affiliates tasks for them you are helping too much. They have to learn how to do it and this will not happen if you do it for them. If they do not understand the instructions you can simplify it and TELL them how to do it. Do no do it for them.
If you support and give advice to affiliates when they ask for help or, send gift certificates or T-credits (if you can afford it)to your working affiliates, you are not helping too much. Some of your affiliates really want to succeed but they simply do not have the money to spend on a Standing order right away. Helping them until they can place a standing order or qualify as EA or higher on their own might cost you at first but once their business is steady you will reap the rewards.
I will not waste my credits on affiliates that joined and never came back again. Sending them a weekly mail and maybe tip e-cards is enough.

By giving support and keeping in regular contact through PSA & CSA Mailer, as well as stream posts and e-cards, offering help and suggestions is what every good team leader should be doing.
A team leader can even go further by Skyping and holding webinars, sharing their blog and starting a co-op.
Additionally, we can give rewards for performance. I like to encourage new EA's with $5 and EA2's with $10 plus 10-15 re-assigned affiliates and so on.
I have had many affiliates take advantage and EXPECT me to provide monetary gifts and just continually handing out! This is TOO much.
Hard work CAN be rewarded but should not be EXPECTED!
This is after all a business and it is theirs too.

I say no, why? having in mind that your PSA is your Goldmine and the growth of your PSA determine also your growth, therefore you need to help your affiliate with whatever possible and legal means.
Having said this, I will say here that you have to help your affiliate to grow and not to be totally dependent on you, 'Teach him/her how to fish and not just giving him/her the Fish'
