I think it would be a ,and while you are doing good idea to start dotting down things that comes on your mind, and while you are doing that you will see for yourself what words and meanings are needed to make a good letter.
We have lots on our mind BUT it needs practine to get them out and put them into words. The question you asked is one good proof that you can do it,besides there are tons of ideas and tips right here on SFI and forum.
I am also doing this practice right now--putting words on papper to see what comes out good. I know you will do well whatever you put.
All the best in your practice with words and ideas!

First, make sure your newsletter isn't bone dry (I just delete repetitious newsletters from my emails because they tell me the same thing I've learned since I signed up).
Second, put together something fresh and clever for your team. Tell your downline something to encourage them to build your business, but try to sprinkle some humor onto your message.
By using your own words and not an ice copy paste robomachine words, or the constant repetition of message. Even for the info from SFI news or products. Pass your enthusiasme to your affiliates, use simply and clearly words cause not all of them speak english. And give a warm to your message, imagine if you speak with them face to face or with your friends and not your money machine. It's boring to read a letter without a soul, even I who addict to read, if I don't know what important info that my sponsor will give me, may be I'll delete it before read!

The best material for your weekly newsletters for this is what you have learned and experienced during the week. Also with the help of VP ledger, you can keep track of what your team members are doing and you can suggest to them at your own experience what gave results to you at same or similar situatin. Only in this way you can be actual, useful, practical, which is the goal. Follow all the news in the SFI and present them to your members because they might not see, and miss a good opportunity.

1. Just be open, precise and fresh about the content that you are willing to share.
2. It would help you to expand on it more if its a topic that you are well versed
on and especially if you have had a personal encounter with it.
3. Find a fun way of relaying the information to the reader.
4. Encourage active participation at the end of the newsletter.
