In my opinion, look into yourself. What would make you turn off?

Personally I would not want to receive daily emails from the same person, repeating something over and over again. Weekly is fine. Especially if it comes with good advice and information that I want to know.

Like how to make money with SFI, where to advertise, how to set up an SO, etc.

Have you kept all emails from your upline? I do. Periodically review them and think back. When you are a newbie, which

Hi
This is what i do to support my team members without demanding too much or turning them off:
1. i try as much as possible to answer their pressing questions.
2. i encourage them to start building their team teaching them the importance of receiving residual and leverage income from the same
3. I teach them the ways of earning in SFI, so that they can be motivated without me needing to push them and i have been receiving results
4. I try to encourage them by showing them

Never place demands on your affiliates but always make appropriate recommendations. A review of the ledger will give you an idea of the type of affiliate you are working with and you should gauge your response accordingly. Be visible for your affiliates and emphasize the goal - their goal.

A competition will provide just the right amount of motivation for the right affiliate. Keep your team updated on the status of the contest in the stream. What turns off your team is when you don't

Well I guess as long as we do not appear to be overly demanding or imposing or appear too aggressive or forceful or talk them down and appear to be more superior or smarter but instead just be yourself and stay sincere and passionate and offer bite sized tips, advice and suggestions Along the way and treat them as equals and business partners and friends and be a positive role model and mentor and put your money where your mouth is by becoming the best leader, sponsor and once they start seeing

This is tricky because people react differently. What one may consider as demanding may not be considered that way by someone else. I was a bit worried about that very thing with one of my PSAs. In the end I asked her to let me know if she felt I was being too pushy and she reassured me that, no, I wasn't and encouraged me to keep on contacting her and giving her more guidance as she needed 'pushing' to get the job done as she wasn't good at self motivation.

I think the safest way therefore

Florence, this is a difficult question to start with. Practically speaking, it's not wholly possible to mentor someone - in this case a new affiliate - without demanding too much. A person who enlists to SFI or any other business organization understands that business is an avenue of time-frames and deadlines. Take for example at joining...
As a sponsor you have to communicate to the new affiliate about the need to score 500VP within 24 hours for FASTTRACK. By that act you're in the act of demanding

Hi Florence,
The best way to support and motivate your team is to deal with each person separately. People are not the same. As a leader, you must know your team. Even if you sent them PSA Mailer, CSA Mailer, or Genealogy Group Mailer. You must also check their VP Ledgers and sent them individual messages according to their VP Ledgers. Support them and motivate them accordingly.

The best way to support and motivate your team would be to use incentives. Example: buy Gift Cards and distribute to the top affiliate/s.

Other things to do:
1. Send motivational messages.
2. Let them know (often) that you are there to help them.
3. Go onto their VP Ledger and see if there are tasks that they are not completing. Example: if they are not doing the "Stream" tab, explain that they can edit 3 comments per week + click on the tab at the bottom

How would you like to be supported by your sponsor?

Personally I sent out a weekly mail to all my PSA’s and CSA’s to remember them and refocus.

Sometimes I give them a challenge where they can receive TCredits or PSA’s, etc

I also try to send out a midweek mail to non-active PSA’s and CSA’s trying to encourage them to log in daily and complete the To-Do List

Hi Florence Miebach,

You are a leader, not a dictator. It's simple. Without demanding.
You lead them by your example and your achievements. When they need you be there for them. Appeared to them the possibilities, especially if they are new members. Daily read, learn (trust me there is always something to be learned) and follow all the news, that your help will be adequate.
Direct ways to help your PSAs that I know of are as follows:
- TCredits
