I've won going both ways. You must study the auctions, then develop a strategy for bidding both ways. Set a budget for testing both strategies. Once you have your strategies formalized and corresponding budgets ready, then test both extensively, sticking to your budgets religiously. You will gain enough experience from these tests to then be able to win at times with either.
Be sure you consider all the multiple factors, such as time of day, type of auction, product type, and other factors which can have a negative affect the ending price. Watch for anything can result in large increases in the ending price. Build this information into your strategies, stick to it, and you can become a successful bidder often.

This question depends on some variables. First I have to say that it depends on how much time you have on your hands to sit at the computer and secondly it depends on how many TCredits you have to spend and I think it depends on what day of the week it is and the time of day.

I personally like the auctions that you can bid on yourself. This gives you the control over how much you are spending and it does not use up all of your credits at once. If you have time to sit and watch where the auction is going. The weekends are more likely to have more bidders as people are not working, same with later evenings, more people seem to be bidding at the auctions.

Auto-bidder can eat you TCredits like a little kid going through a pack of bubble gum, quick, fast, and in a hurry. If you have the TCredits to spend then you are more than likley going to be more successful with the auto-bidder. I would just say, expect to use more TCredits and pay more money for th item in which you are bidding.

Well this is certainly a very interesting question my take on this is that I personally prefer to bid manually and not use the Auto Bidder as we can have better control over our T credits and on how frequent to bid or slow down or back out or down for a while if it becomes too hotly contested .

As for auto bidding although it may be good to a certain extent especially if you have set a preset limit on the number to Tcredits to bid and x number of bids etc whilst attending to something else however all this can easily be exhausted and wasted in the event that there are others who are also using auto bidding and or there are several consecutive bidding all at the same time then you find that all is down to waste even though there is a small element of chance that someone who has exhausted their TCs or are slow to bid when the timers end and you may indeed end up as the winner .

.Like all things in life whether to auto bid or not the power and choice lies within you

There is no way to decline that use of Auto-Bidder is the best way to win an Auto-Bid auction although there may be some exception as we know the world ‘exception’ always exist in all the cases.

But above all, it is obviously better to use auto-bidder in case of auto-bid auction to confirm your win if you have sufficient T-Credits in your account. To be confirm your T-Credit account, set auto-bidder from the starting point of an auction – sit comfortably - keep a sharp look and change the price/T-Credit time to time, if needed

If you have no sufficient T-Credit - less than 100-150 – watch the auction carefully and keep a sharp look on to the bidders list. Wait until decrease of bidders and auction clock struck Going Once/Twice. In this situation if you find there are two to three bidders only, set your Auto Bidder to apply common sense and activate it. Watch carefully the movement of the auction and change T-Credit and price as and when required up to your limit to win the auction

It is better to avoid bid manually in an Auto-Bidder auction unless you have a sound knowledge regarding auctions. It would also depend on the movement of an auction. If you want to bid manually as per movement of auction status – don’t forget to place your bid before auction clock struck 00:00:05 as it will take some time to reach as per latency

Apply the similar sense in NAB or without Auto-Bidder auctions to win

In conclusion we can come to a decision that you need knowledge, concentration, a sharp look to the movement and bidders lists, strength of T-Credits, capabilities and above all - your luck to win an auction successfully

If you are possessing of above excellence you must win an auction with and without using Auto-Bidder

From my own experience it is always good when I can be the real example

I bought houses, lands, cars and many others online and in person, but
I have never put my emotion and start a bidding war with another person.
I always have a plan and stick to it no matter what with the strategy I

I think using auto-bidder is far better when you have enough TCredits because it blocks your counterparts from getting into the mix! Unfortunately auto-bidding has got its own disadvantages, particularly when it comes to controlling the bidding; you have no control over it whatsoever! And that’s why you should perhaps only opt for auto-bidding when you have enough TCredits.

However, manual bidding is somewhat very helpful when you have sufficient time to time-manage your TCredits in order to use them wisely! Yet one should remember that auto-bidding is mostly used by advanced bidders, so as a beginner I would stick to manual bidding, I think Pribenders auction is easier and manageable that way.

Judicious use of the auto-bidder can work to your advantage. It is a great tool that I use to great effect.
At the start of an auction, you can use it to intimidate hesitant and opportunistic bidders. But you must set a limit that is reasonable, the average price on previous auctions works fine. But experience is needed to gauge this.

Later in an auction you have to be more active and carefully watch how the bidding is progressing. You can still use the auto-bidder, but beware there are more people trying to snatch a win from you like vultures at a lion's kill. And often they will wear you down and succeed.

Using auto -bidder for winning Price Benders solely depends on the situation at time of bidding.

In a single auction, there can be instances you use auto bidder and and instances you put off the auto bidder. When there are more than one person who are bidding before the timer reaches 0 , or immediately after a bid has increased by 1 cent, do not use auto bidder. Chances are that you can save your T credits because someone else has used auto bidder or has entered the bid and is interested in winning.

Use Manual bidding when you have a lot of time available till completing the auction and you have enough t credits . Use manual bidding when the auction reaches it's peak.

I believe it is mostly a matter of personal preference.

One must learn how to use the auto-bidder so as not to fly through all your TCs before you realize it!! There are settings to use for starting and ending dollar amounts. I've only tried it once, didn't care for it.

When not using a-b, you have more control over your bidding. It's not advisable to get into a bidding war with anyone, as it's basically just throwing TCs away. Every time someone bids, the clock starts over, so no gain. Pace yourself, be patient.

Watch the other bidders, control your bidding flow, hope you can outlast the others while staying within your planned bidding budget.

Personally, I think it's better to not use auto-bidder.

from my experience, do not use auto-bidder if you are limited of TC. Without it you can control spending of TC and bid when you see Going twice on board.
Auto-bidder is useful if you have at least 200TC and want to outbid players with less TC`s or when you try to rich price high enough to force others to retreat.
If you insist to use it be fast and turn it off when auction comes to an end, and one or two players left to bid.
If someone else use auto-bidder wait for Going once or Going twice and then place your bid, so he will spend more TC`s and become impatient.
If you have less than 125 TC don`t touch auto-bidder.
