Well, you should change your method.
Start with question: what do I want to accomplish: bigger team, TC selling commissions or else? Until you define this you can't succeed.
If a team is primary goal - ADVERTISE on every social networks page you can (but do not spam or you'll be blocked). At least 10 ads a day with address of your personal blog (with registration button). Be creative, be persistent, be honest.

What you should do is go back to your Launchpad lessons and read - not just read apply what your read.
Go SFI Basics for more information how you can be successful
I would also suggest you start using some of the standing orders to help you to build up your team,

What you put into your business is what you will get out of your business.

I've been with Sfi for almost 2 months and what I understand is that it is a business and you are the owner and like all businesses your staff can make or break you.
I would suggest that you look at the strategies you have been using for the past year and see what worked and did not.
Keep what worked for you and twick that did not work especially your advertising and the attention you gave your affiliates.

You say you have been is SFI for a year without any success. Have you been logging in to the SFI website on a daily basis and carrying out your daily weekly and monthly tasks.

SFI works on duplication so if you want to be successful you need to show your affiliates what they need to be doing. By the same token you need to be following what your upline are doing.
