But you should also be able to have a current email list, and this means you must have a communication link with the email list you have in your possesion, you just don't throw the gift card to somebody. Remember you are trying to 'kill two birds with one stone'. This l mean you are using the gift card as a tool to show love primarily, and as a tool for advertisement.
The person you send it to, either a friend or a family member will be the one you hold in high esteem, and must be made to see it that way.
If you have to go in person, not everybody likes improptu visit, what l mean by this, is not everybody likes to entertain visitors without any prior notice, and l feel that informing the recipient of your gift card, of your visit, takes away the joy of your pleasant surprise.

It depends on each individual. Some people are very effective at talking to strangers face to face. These individuals can effectively distribute TripleClicks (TC) gift cards to strangers who would most likely check out TripleClicks. Other individuals are superb at writing advertisements which draws customers to investigating a product, such as TC gift cards. Then there are individuals who are great at doing both.

The key is to build on your own strength. Each affiliate, as individual as we are, has their own strengths. They need to recognize their strengths and utilize them for their benefit in advertising themselves and their product (SFI).

We speak about duplication within SFI. I think people have a misunderstanding of duplicating. Often people have the idea, that duplicating is doing EXACTLY everything the sponsor is doing. I believe duplication is close to this; however, it is also teaching our team members to use their knowledge, skills and strengths they already have to build their own SFI team/business. This is a main part of duplication. We as sponsors/co-sponsors are there to be supportive of them and teach them what we are doing to be successful; yet, what we are doing, they may have a better way of doing and we need to support them and can learn from them as well.

So it truly depends on each individual on how to effectively distribute TC gift cards and through which medium.

Which is more effective-distributing TC gift cards online or in person?

This can differ from individual to individual.For me I prefer online reason being when I purchase them they are readily available !I do not have to wait weeks until they are delivered.So I can have an $12 campaign a lot easier.These cards are great I send them to anyone that I receive their email and name and if they do not redeem them I do not worry or give the code to another I find this practice not business like.Gift cards are your source to receiving PRMS and they are always valid which means if I send an ECard to some one and they do not redeem it I still have their name in the system as a referral.If it takes them 6 months and they come in under someone else link there are still mine for it first come first serve here meaning as long as you send in a name under your link they are yours until death or until you decide to stop.As time goes by I intend to resend to the ones who did not redeem.
Secondly a scenario you sent a card to Bob 1mth ago he did not redeem it you took that same code and give it to Mary ,but bob decide let me see what this is all about and redeem the card When Mary tries to redeem she is block to me this does something to your creditability.You are given 30 cards when purchase think of it as an investment in your business growth not a card loss.
In terms of being more effective for me would be online for this is an online business that's where I intend on taking it so you see why I prefer distribution online for its convenience!.

The more effective distributing of TC gift cards will be online because affiliated members of SFI are not located at the same place as you are. Most of them are in another country as you will like to send. To send in online is much fast to that individual you want to send to and he or she can respond and appreciate your TC gift cards. And also you can monitor that person as well if he or she is online and when you send the TC gift cards they can receive it just with in seconds and respond to you quickly. Its is more convenient and easy to do when you want to distribute your TC gift cards. However, to distribute TC gift cards in person to members of SFI, to me it will be very hard. If you want to send to someone from outside your country , its impossible to do within a day and also it will be costly to travel. On the other hand, you might not know where the particular individual reside and will be a big problem to reach the member you want to send the TC gift card to. So in a person will be really hard to deliver. I suggest that its more easy to use by sending the TC gift card online to that member you want to send to.

I believe giving a TC gift card to someone in person is much more effective especially if you have some kind of relationship with them. The more familiar they are with you, the better the chances are of them using it. For instance, it is better to give one to a waitress who frequently serves you and to whom you give tips than give to a waitress at a random restaurant while traveling who doesn’t know you.

On the other hand, my experience with distributing TC gift cards online is that people fill out their contact information on my capture page to get one but hardly ever sign up at TripleClicks when I send them the TC Gift Card. And even when they do sign up, most don’t purchase anything. My guess is that most people are very busy and there is not enough incentive for them to look through Triple Clicks for a small item to purchase. I’ve even encouraged them with an additional offer of a gift certificate after they sign up but have had no takers.

However, I could see the value, for example, of setting up a landing page and rewarding people who subscribe to your blog or suchlike with a free Gift Card, and that, too, might prove to be a strong strategy.

Just sending out the gift card codes, by comparison, would probably be a bit weaker because your recipient will not have invested any effort into the process, which means that he or she would be less likely to investigate the T-Credits thereon.

It depends on if you are using you warm market, basically people you know and see daily or people you don't already know. Online or offline your warm market is less likely to abuse the gift, take advantage of you, or fail to use their cards as they will need to look you in the eye every time they interact with you.

Online or offline doesn't matter, those who will deny the gift or do dubious things will do what they do either way, but both media are great for finding that new found super shopper who is worth all the others put together. Christmas is less than 6 months away and even less time left before Black Friday so getting the cards soon is your best bet.

Hi Marty,

my oppinion is, that it is more effective to distribute TC gift cards in person then online. As you have more ways to distribute them. You can leav them wherever you want, in restorans, cabs, shops as it is explained by SFI, or handel them out to friends, family or people you meat.

But you have to see how much is the shipping fee to the place where you are from, cause sometimes it is even higher then the cost of the cards, and if that is the case with you, I would suggest to buy the digital version. as you can get an extra set for it.

Another solution is to bid for them on trippeclicks and if you get them for a low price, then it is cost effective for you to get the plastic version, as you pay just the low price and the shipping fee.

I think that both methods have strengths and weaknesses and focus should not be placed on only one method of distributing TC gift cards.
- In both methods, you distribute to both people you know and those you do not know.
- The population to distribute to online is more than those in person
- While some people can deceive you online and collect more than one card from you, other can equally deceive you when you distribute in person. This is a situation that you may hardly avoid unless you want to advertise only to those you know which I think is not a very good business strategy.
- Talking about effectiveness, SFI is an online business and prospect must equally have some skills to work online. To me, even when you meet somebody in person, just ask but for the email and promise to email the code to him/her. This way, online distribution is effective.

If you are a resident of USA, for you, may be the best version of the electronic version of the Gift Cards, not only because of the shipping costs, but also due to customs regulations in certain countries.

As far as effectiveness

What matters is the code. When potential PRM use that code, he / she gets to their account. 6 TCredits and 100 MRP.
