On the other hand, retired persons have ample time on their hands. Some who have not been able to achieve their dreams are very much anxious to do so, so they will also find the opportunity appealing. These are willing and ready to invest. So i advice you target both.

I would say that it would be a huge mistake to just target just one or the other.
Why not both? By targeting just one you are seriously limiting your potential to attract a lot of people to your business.Being a member of SFI is an excellent choice for both groups in that there is no need to spend huge amounts of time working on it and everyone has some time during the day to devote to it.
I would also include students in your ads too. They like the rest of us are always keen to find a way to supliment their income and find some bargains along the way too.

Technically speaking, there really is no better demographic. SFI is for everybody and anybody over the age of 18 who wants to take control of their financial freedom.
So if you want to advertise to retirees, you can do that.
If you want to advertise to homemakers, you can do that too.
My best answer for you would be to post ads targeting both demographics. This way, you'll have a chance of getting PSAs from both sides of the fence.
Both target groups are good .
If it comes to studying there will always be pros and cons.
Based on this target both groups.
You will have the results from both sides.
I advise you that in you can find people in every demographic groups who will successfully work.
Post your ads everywhere and for everyone and will be a success.

When your add is reflecting your believe in what you are doing through your own experience in any endeavor and covered with the truth that you believe in ... I do think your add will target those who seek the truth irrespective of them age, their way of living and their experience ...
I believe lots of people do like testimonies and mostly inspirations from one's own experience ... try to put the truth of your own satisfaction as the flavour of your add and you will be surrounded with all kind of kind of people who need someone ready to take them to the first step of the road of success SFI that you walked on ... be truthful if you are really find it worthy of attracting others .. and most important is when you bring them on-board be there for them ... I do not need to disconnect anyone.
Everyone needs extra income and both groups are more or less related to the house so that they work with your computer can match.
Perhaps retirees have more time but will be a housewife certainly better manage the computer.
With the same story on both sides try and you will succeed.

This is a charm of SFI business. This job is for all sort of people, from 18. to 88.
From my personal experience I have in my team 18. years old boy and also a woman in mid-seventies... Both of them are excellent in SFI work.
So there are no rules in SFI.

Considering the scope and extensiveness of SFI as a business venture, it will be restrictive and foolhardiness to restrict ads to any or particular demographic segment. Taking cognizance of the global & web natured platform of its business activities, we as operators should liken our market approach to a Fisherman or woman.
Just throw your net into the market sea/river. Untill the catch/catches is/are made, you know not the fish to bring onboard or dicard back into the sea/river.
