There are very few “born leaders”. However, life is by no means short of leaders.

In SFI you have all possible assistance to become a Team Leader: free training, free marketing methods and aids at your disposal, plenty of successful Team Leaders to learn from. Follow their example, contact them with your questions. Read the Forum, which is a wealth of information. Give the answers to Ask SC questions proper consideration.

SFI is a well oiled machine of success. All you have to do is reach out and make good use of it to your benefit.

However, you have to be determined, willing to take risks, to learn and succeed. You have to be thorough and persevering. You must be very patient and build up your business carefully. Who says you are not a born leader?

One thing is clear, is taught by the gurus and the greatest book on earth, everyone is born a leader but is not realized until he or she goes through much nurturing and education until they come to a point where they realize that they are actually great leaders. I believe that is the purpose of mankind and that is why we all go through extensive studies and nurturing through schools, colleges, universities, books, tutors, parents and so on and so forth.
The most important aspect of SFI Business system is training it's affiliates to become better leaders or do their very best to become an excellent leader apart from being an excellent entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs are great leaders in the business world.

If we look at the attributes and characters of a leader:

# Leaders are examples.
# Are those who have gone ahead.
# To whom others look up to for advice, encouragements, help etc.
# Who others want to become.
# Who the down line should emulate.
# They should be good teachers.

To sum up a leader should be patient, kind, able to help when there's a need and be a good example and do all of the above.
They should do all that they teach.

Any leader who is worth his salt is a born leader. Theorist describe the characteristics of born leaders with the same attribute ascribe to any effective leader. Team leaders inspire members of their team to meet and exceed goals

There are criteria to meet before you become a team leader in SFI. Basically you must abide by the SFI term and policy. You must acquaint yourself with all the training materials provided by SFI. Follow SFI rules of success, read and reread launchpad lessons. Also be an active affiliate.

SFI has a set of obligations you need to meet before you become a Team Leader:

You must have a minimum of 1500 versa points from actions
You must have a minimum of 1500 versa points or maximum of 2000 versa points from sales/purchases
You must maintain a Leadership page and
Have at least 3 star ratings. This is just for BTL qualification which is 3000 versa points requirement.

For STL, GTL and PTL sales/purchases versa points are constant while action points count for the reminder to make up STL 4000 versa points, GTL 5000 versa points and PTL 6000 versa points.

In SFI a team leader must be able to make decisions on how to carry along the team members. He has to do so in a way that doesn’t cause friction or over stretch them. Support them with ideas on how to grow in the business.

Because of diverse nature of team members, a team leader in SFI should be able to know his team well and take interest in their day to day activities. He should be able to understand their problems based on their individual background.

He should lead by example. Teams value leadership that takes an active role in their work. Teach them what you do. Guide them, share in their concern and encourage them.

Team leaders provide incentives and bonuses to encourage the team. In SFI you can set a contest for your team and reward them with gift of your choice. It helps to get them work diligently and enthusiastically.

A very good question, I can only answer this by giving you my personal experience. As a young child/teenager/youth, I was rather introverted, the classic wallflower.

When I started working I had to undergo training to enable me to do my job properly. Over the years, I had to attend more courses to enable me to learn in greater detail how to do my job properly. Along with these courses I also had to do management courses.

Remember, the classic introvert doing a management course. After 20 years of doing my job, learning the details and procedures, I eventually attained the position of Head of Department. That is quite a stressful leadership position.

My answer to your question is anyone can become a strong and successful leader if they have the confidence and knowledge of their job.

SFI is your job, learn the products, system and have the confidence to go out there and show others the benefits.

Hello friend,

Well no one is born a leader, this is a skill which can be aquired .

We just need to read and understand the system and apply our knowledge. We need to so this regularly and with time you will not even know and will have become an SFI team leader.

So for having Knowledge it is very important to read and understand, then we must have a positive attitude towards marketing, we should be very patient and persistent, and most important we should apply this and make stratergies on how to go about the system.

Once we learn to do this the only thing you ll have to do is pass on the same to your team so thy duplicate you. It takes some time but with mistakes we keep running , falling getting up again and keep running, eventually we shall reach our goal. You ll have become the best leader.

Conventional every day thinking today high lights that born leaders are to some extent rebellious, they challenge the status quo and in doing so influence others. More importantly they are provided with something that is inate in all of us – potential.

You will not realize your potential as a leader until you are placed in a situation where this potential is called from within you. You do not need to be Ghandi, Nelson Mandela or even Richard Branson to be a leader. It is the glamour associated with their position that leads us to believe that they are somehow born with an advantage over us mere mortals.

If you define leadership, simplistically, then leadership is simply showing others a better way.

Leadership is a spontaneous phenomenon that emerges in an organization. It is an application to your mindset that allows the creativity within you to express itself. Leadership is the creative potential in each of us that when called for, we then lead by example for the improvement or betterment of our cause.

The term 'born leader' is a fallacy, created many years ago by those in the higher levels of our society with the aim to excluding and discouraging those of the lower levels of society from becoming influential.

'Leaders are Readers'

All leaders have 'developed' into what they are today and in most cases it has been through reading the right information. They do not stop there though. A leader will then take action upon the knowledge they have gained and help others to duplicate their knowledge and action. It is through this that they attain leadership qualities.

In the case of SFI you can become a great leader by reading and understanding the way in which the SFI business operates, applying that knowledge and helping your own team members to duplicate.

Being a leader also means being organised. If you cannot organise yourself you have very little hope of organising or teaching others. To improve in this area you should be reading books about management. Although there are many management books I would like to suggest just one to you.

In the context of the kind of leadership that you need to have in order to achieve your GOALS here in SFI always START Within YOURSELF. If you feel like you are not a born leader then take that as a CHALLENGE for you.

If your GOAL for example is "to become wealthy" then you must take your SFI business seriously. If you want to achieve this, then you must learn the SFI Basics by heart first and maximize the free training, marketing aids, helpful Forums made available to us.

Start up success only comes to those who are willing to put in the time, do the work and sacrifice self for sustained effort. Once you mastered your tasks daily, you will still need focus, consistency, discipline, and dedication. From that you will achieve the level of confidence you need for teaching your PSAs & CSAs and eventually by showing them what you do means DUPLICATION already. By this you are starting to become a leader to them.

In SFI is not needed to be "born leader", because you don't lead people in physical way. Team Leader status just helps you earn more and show an example to your team mates.
But, what you can do as team leader can be inspiring for your team mates.
Because when you show your strength to them, they try to overcome that, and they try even more to succeed. Also you can give them some rewards or bonuses for their efforts which can cause in their will to succeed, as well.

So, answer is easy one, you dont need to be born leader to be TEAM LEADER. The way I see it is just an way of earning in SFI and showing your strength in your own team. And when they see you have succeed they also see it is posible for them to do same.

When you help them in their will and dedication, that is so called RULE OF DUPLICATION. And that is all what one team leader need to do, folow that rule.
