Hello Chidinma,
I love your question: “Which is better...doing two separate blogs about SFI and TripleClicks...or a single blog about BOTH?”, since it requests something more than a simple answer stating which one is better for the person giving the answer.
I will try and express my ideas as simple as possible, first of all a blog is not something you develop in a day, it requires commitment, patience, lots of writing drafts, and a lot of reading (sure, you want to be very informed) to name a few indispensable necessities.
Thinking about the former, you require time to invest in your blog, it depends how skilled you are at each of the previous requirements to have a well-written blog. On the other hand, there is another very important thing to think on: “What is the topic of your blog?” If you are going to write about SFI, will you be writing about:
• Starting a business
• Maintaining a business
• Reaching more people
• Advertising for your business
• What types of investments are you going to make for your business
• What type of sacrifices are you willing to go through?
Or, will you write about the things you have done right (or wrong) while developing your SFI business to help others learn from your experience?
Writing about TripleClicks would tend to work around certain articles that help a specific or broad market in some way or another. For example, you might want to write about some herbal or non-herbal product(s) that can help reduce the possibility of acquiring a certain disease or reduce the symptoms of such disease. Thus, you will have a market that you can offer to buy specific products and know that they are actively looking for a solution to an existing problem.
So when thinking about the answer to your question, I definitely think it all comes down to you and your specific possibilities: Are you able to write about both in a consistent manner? Would you prefer writing about one first, and then complement the information with the other? And, as a last suggestion, but far from least, what would the people you are offering your blog to prefer to read?
Ponder on those questions and let us talk!
