When a team member ask me something I don't know,I look for the answer in the SFI forum, and If I don't find the answer I ask my sponsor or somebody from my upline for the answer.perhaps it would be wiser to refer members that they look for themselves the answer in the forum. It's better when they themselves come up with an answer-that is how they learn more.
Ofcourse not everyone knows everything. If a situation arises and you dont know, it is a mistake to show your downline you dont know outright. Use expressions like 'yes i have come across that... but i need to confirm....' or ' thats a splendid question, it shows you are still working up the ladder.... then refer to Ask Sc or refer the question to your upline. However evaluate what part of the answer you have. We start answering questions by highlighting absolute facts (the known) before working out the unknown.

First thing, when you don't know the answer I believe it's better to just say "I don't know but I'll find out" and then go find out.
Second, is there a keyword that could codify the question? Look for that keyword in the glossary of the Affiliate Website.
Upon that, if you have perused all the Affiliate Tab information to no avail the very next resource should be your sponsor, then co-sponsor, then your entire up-line. By this time I'm sure the answer will have been unearthed.

First of all we need to train ourselves by reading start/sfi basic/ launch pad and forum.Guide them how to submit tickets for their problems. If they are not able to do so you being a team leader can submit ticket for them. Never say I don't know the answer to a newbie otherwise they will lose faith on as a team leader.
"When a team member asks a question, and you don't know the answer, how can you get them the best and correct answer?"
Ask your sponser and upline team one of them are sure to know the answer and if by some chance they dont then there is always the ask Gerry option and of course dont forget the forums that is always a great source of valuable information and tips to be found on there
Yes, it is possible, that the team leader don't know some answers. Or maybe he (she)
is not available at the moment when affiliate need quick help. For those situations
is the best solution the team forum.
We all know, that in most teams there are people from all over the world. That suppose
that there is almost someone from your upline on forum, where you can get the answer
to your question as soon as possible.
If you don't have an answer at that time, prefer them to SFI many options that has been set up for team member questions, one is their Up line Sponsor, another option is go to the forum, or they could go to ASK SC, but if none of these are sufficient, direct them to SFI President, Gery Carson. I hope this help.
You can check the FAQ section which is a large knowledge base. If not found, you can always discuss with your upline and they will be able to provide the answer with their experience. If still you don't get the answer, discuss the question in some of the active forums from where you would definitely get the answer.
When you encounter the above issue, just admit to your member that you do not know the answer but you will get back to them with the answer in a moment, then try any of the following:
