In my opinion most people will need a pension shortly after 50. With SFI they can start a Internet business that can provide them with that pension, or at least boost the pension they already have. The normal pension age is 60 or 65, thus, they have 10 or more years to make a success of their SFI. Far longer than they ever need.
SFI does not depend on age and it answers the need of people to build a business for his near future existence and, even more, for his whole rest of life, for his family evenatually or for the ones in need. It does not take very much time, but it gives certain results even if for this there are necessary several months or years in accordance with the intended desired results.
I would just point out the state of the economy today. Unless you are already a millionaire, your money just does not go far anymore. If you don't have health insurance or long term care finances, then this business just makes sense as there is no start up costs and minimal investment as you progress.
Be honest with the individual - share with them your reasons on why you see SFI being a great match to their needs.
People only participate in things when their needs will be met. So you should be clear with the 50 year old individual about what you see as a need that is met by joining SFI.

It should not persuade anyone to do something they do not want. Thus, a person has to realize that if he wants to do it or not, regardless of age. Of course you can explain to him how the SFI business and show by their example.
