I send my affiliates tools and documents that they can download. When they get the download I am notified and can then follow up.
What they get and what they select tells me what they feel like they "need". People do not engage with you because they understand what you do - they buy and engage because they feel you understand them and what they need! These "offerings" help to tell me something about the prospect. I learn about the prospect before they have even reached out to me.
In my follow up to a download I am able to speak specifically to what they got and provide more support in the areas they have identified as a felt need.
My experience is that once they feel like I want to help them achieve their agenda and I am not just trying to get them to achieve mine, they become more and more responsive.
