SFI has made incentives and designed the SFI programme in such a way that once you are an EA, you automatically are qualified to receive 2 CSA. As their CSAs, you are given 15% CV on their purchases.
As their CSA, we need to encourage , motivate and acknowledge them when ever they are in need.
I have my own experience whereby my Co Sponsor was the active one when i joined SFI. During that period, I was taught the importance of reading good SFI marketing manuals, what t currency was, why I needed to have a minimum of 1500 versa point monthly as an affiliate. He helped me comfortable before my Sponsor stepped it. To be honest, if my Co Sponsor hadn't stepped in, I would have given up since 2013.
In my opinion, as a good Co Sponsor, we are there to guide, teaching, train our affiliates to have a grasp of their business, respond to questions they may have and allow them duplicate your actions. I believe doing that, you are acting appropriately as you are rendering help to your CSAs. Remember that 2 heads are better than one and having both Sponsors and Co-sponsors working together with an affiliate will broaden his knowledge on the business than having either the Co sponsor/Sponsor inactive or both.
In summary, work with your CSAs as you would do with your PSAs and the sky will be the limit.
All the best.
