A good question,
In this business communication is an important strategy that ultimately leads us forward as a team, unfortunately, some are good at communicating, whilst others are not.
Myself, I fall into the latter group though I will always try to communicate with my team as often as I can, outside influences permitting.
That is why I recently introduced some group training in communication skills, so far I have sent 4 group mails with 4 lessons on communication skills out to all of my team but so far I have had no feedback, but I remain optimistic that there will be at least one that wants to see more.
I think under the circumstances my friend that the best option is to stay focused on what you want to achieve with the business and openly communicate with your team, some will reply, some will not, but don't let it steal your thunder, as long as you continue to do your part, you are a winner, whatever happens.
