I feel that as the core of this business is having an active team, it is important to use all contacts from your spouse to generate active members therefore my first focus would be to explain to my spouse the importance of generating sign-ups.
Why do I say this? These are some of my reasons.
1. We know that it takes time to generate a sizable amount of income and therefore it is important that you guide your spouse into utilizing his/her "contacts". It will make a more positive impact and the chances of sign ups will be higher if your spouse does the marketing rather than you follow them up.
2. So, in fact you are doing the bulk of the work in SFI (which sometimes spouses do not find to be rewarding in terms of seeing results by way of tangible income).
3. Use his/her social group to organize an informal get together and you can become a host and entertain while your spouse gets you the sign ups.
4. Introduce him to TripleClicks and let him/her browse through the various products - he might like something and this will help your business.
5. In countries where commuting to work is a long wait for trains, many play games while they wait or when they are in the train - this is an additional benefit to the people your spouse will introduce to your business. Games is a relaxant for many so capitalize on this feature.
This is the beginning of your spouse's involvement and it should lead to a further commitment to help you grow!
