#1, you should foster the sense that team member development is one of your core responsibilities;
#2, listen to other team leaders' experience as a leader here in SFI and seriously consider their input. Patient is not only a virtue, it shows you care and it keeps them engaged, too.
#3, plan as much as you can, and communicate that plan as much as you can. Planning is part of the core job responsibilities for any team leader; communicating the plan makes you more effective.
#4, read SFI training materials regularly. You can't possibly know everything, so become a lifelong learner and model that some behavior to others.
