For example: You advertise a dress - if it is a dress that you love and would love to have you will be able to convince others that it is something to look at. Would you be able to sell that dress if you would not be seen dead in it?
Next you can use online advertising sites - paid or free.
You can advertise in magazines, newspapers, pamphlets - basically any printed media.
Your own website or blog is free advertising - you need to make posts that will bring traffic to your site - and when they are there they will most likely click on your advertisements and hopefully find something to tickle their fancy.
Try to think out of the box and advertise in a way and in a place where you would not normally find advertisements.
