The best way to overcome the language barrier is to communicate right where your affiliates are. If you get a message in french, then use google translate to write a message in english then translate it in french. When I am in chat with such affiliate, I have my screen split so that I can copy and paste what they say directly into Google translate. Then I give my answer to the translator to come up with an answer in their native tongue.
This is the best way I have found to communicate with those partners that don't speak english. Likewise, I realize that English is an universal language in much of the world. So no matter which country your partners are from there are those in the SFI family that are fluent in more than one language. So the reassignment tool allows team leaders to reassign affiliates from the same geographical region to foster goodwill and to give our team members the best chance of success.
Finally, if you don't have many affiliates from a particular region, then you can reach out to an A2A friend that may be fluent in English and the native language of your team member. You may have to reciprocate something of value with your A2A friend but I'm sure you can get someone of a native language to translate your messages into the language needed to support your team mates.
