Some people look at things like a half-empty or half-full glass. Some look at things with rose-coloured glasses, and some just love using the black sunglasses all the time. So it takes all kinds.
One person with a negative attitude is understandable, but the whole team?
So it could be coming from you, whether you realize it or not!
Check the contents of your weekly messages, Stream Posts, the words you use when communicating in any way with your team.
Are you constantly using the words “No” “Don’t”, etc. , and whilst trying to be helpful you instead put them under stress by insisting they must do this and that, follow this and that.or they will NOT be successful?
If that is the reason, then you can try to change your team's negative perception of SFI starting with you. There are also many ways of praising people that feeds a positive mental attitude.
Next time you send your weekly message, write only positive things, share the success of SFI/TC, the great new programs introduced this year and how the new Signing Bonuses will motivate and inspire action. the new FT Extensions Program, the new Eager Zebra games, the exciting BizQuiz, the many new items at Pricebenders auctions, the increased VP one can earn at the daily tasks, the new Milestone Shares, and much, much more.
Recognise and applaud every little milestones and achievements of your team, and challenge them to be part of Building Something Great!
And be happy and excited for your team - it's contagious!
