1. When it comes to being an SFI affiliate, gifts can serve more than just one purpose.
2. When we give somebody a gift purchased from TripleClicks, we're also doing a greater spreading-of-the-word about TripleClicks than we would be if we had TripleClicks products only in our own home. If you have 12 people owning an item from TripleClicks, you also have 12 advertisers of TripleClicks.
3. When the recipient of the gift exclaims "This is fantastic!" and asks "Where did you get it?" you tell them about the benefits of being a TripleClicks member, and you hand them a TripleClicks gift card.
4. When the recipient exclaims "I can't wait to show my friends and family!" you hand them several TripleClicks X-Cards, saying "Give them a card in case they want to go shopping there too!"
