When I reassign someone I send an ecard to both the recipient and the reassigned member. I tell them the reason for the reassignment, usually for language, and I let them both know that I'm available to both of them.
When I work with members in my 2nd to 5th level, I always let them know I am doing this in behalf of their sponsor. I am especially careful to let their sponsor know what I plan to do, and then I send them a copy of any message I send to their people.
I let the reassigned person know that they are still in my group and important to me. That I will be following up with them periodically.
