Firstly, I don’t think that you should “willy nilly” be sending out invites to all and sundry. The Designated Diamond program is designed to help your team members who are already showing some promise.
Anyone who receives an invite is more or less committed to doing well. It is an obligation. Some team members might be frightened off by it.
You need to go through your list of PSAs in your Genealogy and select some team members who have been logging in every day and who have earned VP. Particularly choose those who have a Standing Order as this shows they are serious about their business.
Then, in your Genealogy you can make your selections and send the invites.
If you would like an invitation yourself and you have not received one from your Sponsor, then send him/her a polite email to say that you would like to be considered. I would imagine that your Sponsor would be pleased to send you an invite as if you do well, then so do they. It’s a win win situation all round. This is definitely a great addition to SFI.
