This really depends on what other ways you are using to communicate with them and the level of interaction you have with them.
I use my weekly communication (group mailer) for group instructions on general topics or topics that all the group members should be aware of such as: SFI Basics, The Plan, Advertising etc.. I always include in there some motivational words for the team and as always I am here to help them.
I tend to send motivational messages and words of encouragement directly to the team members concerned. I use the information in the ‘movers’ tab to identify the workers and also information at the ‘Genealogy’ report for those who have dropped out of the ‘movers’ tab.
I use the ‘Stream’ tab a lot for motivational messages.
I also ‘chat’ with them whenever I see that they are online.
That’s the way I do it.
Regarding what to write to motivate them, using your weekly communication, I would recommend that these be kept short. Effective motivational speeches are generally at the most 7 minutes long with key phrases emphasized and repeated several times. The same can be done for motivational writing. To the point and keep it short, not overloading the reader.
You can write about
- Developments within SFI and TripleClicks
- Topical and important announcements such as Signing Bonus, new Team Leader Requirements, Gift Certificate Scam etc
- Encouraging messages to start, keep going etc.. include some quotes here if possible
- Marketing methods and trends
- Developing online shopping trends /main shoppers /products in demand etc
- Any team news, team competition results and milestones within the team
There are many more topics to write about but always remember why you are writing to them. As you said ‘to motivate them to become more active.’ Always encourage them to login daily and be active building up their businesses.
