Outside of social media, opportunities for advertise our SFI businesses are many, both offline and online. As access to internet is reaching every corner of the world, it is only fair to foresee the continued growth of online advertising resources.
The most effective form of online advertising is driving traffic to a content made up of a website, a blog or a video. It can also serve a purpose of creating attendance to a webinar, building a prospects list or simply to a gateway.
Generally speaking, we have three sets of online advertising resources outside of social media.
The first set of such online advertising resources is within SFI. With the S-Builder co-op, affiliates without any experience can still start to promote their businesses and help their team members do so by setting up their own advertising co-op.

It is also possible to set an advertising co-op outside of SFI, provided that SFI communication guidelines and rules with other affiliates are fully respected and upheld.
The second set of advertising resources outside of social media is made up of of those that are not linked to specific advertising and traffic sites. They include:
- Blog and Forum commenting: By adding relevant information to a blog, making suggestions and asking pertinent questions, we can create interest among other readers who will check us and get to know what we are about. It is an excellent way to start generating organic traffic to our website or personal blog;
-Free and paid Classified advertising: Classified Ads have moved from offline print to online publishing. They are still very effective in finding customers for products and services as well as prospects for business opportunities;
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): It is fair to say that there is a whole subject matter about "improving the ranking" in search engines such as Google, MSN's Bing, Yahoo , Baidu, Yandex and others. It may require some preliminary training;
- YouTube, Atom, Blip.Tv, Big Think, Min and other video sharing sites: video content has proven to be very effective in advertising. It is a very cost effective substitution to TV advertising. It can even be entirely free;
- Email marketing is still one of the top Affiliate message delivery systems. It is used to build lists of prospects or match customers to products and services. Linked to autoresponders, it is an efficient selling as well as a sponsoring tool.
The third set uses existing advertising and traffic sites. In most cases they are free to join but require accumulating or buying credits to bring viewers to our own offers. They include the following types of sites:
- Paid-to-Click sites (PTC);
- Revenue Sharing sites;
- Safelists and Traffic Exchange sites; and
- Viral Marketing sites.
