As you are building your SFI business you will more than likely come across affiliate Team Leaders that will recommend that you should communicate with your teammates by using many of the different social networks like Facebook, Linked-in and other social sites.
Personally I have found that the communication networks set up within SFI to be more than adequate to handle the communications between your teammates and yourself. I have been with SFI for over 3 years now and I rarely go outside to other resources to contact my down-line members.
I do let my team know my personal email account so they can contact when they have any questions. I do answer the majority of their questions this way. I like the email account because there is no size limit and I can also add screen shots or images when needed.
But as far as going to and using social networks for communications purposes has not worked to well. Even though I have a Business Page on Facebook set up for SFI and put the link to the page in my team mails for a year no one used it to contact me. When my team get much bigger then I will think about activating the Facebook page again.
Our business is a global business and catching some affiliates in different countries at the right time when using Instant messages or Skype is extremely hard to set up. To make a connection someone is going to have to lose sleep.
In SFI we have our;
• CSA (Co-sponsored Affiliates) mailer
• PSA (Personally Sponsored Affiliates) mailer.
• We have our Genealogy mailer where all kinds of filters can be implemented depending on who you wish to contact.
• There is also our Stream post that can be used to send short messages to a2a friends, PSAs – CSAs or a combination of our entire group.
• We now have many different Ecards that we can send to our teammates
• We also have a instant chat system you can use when you see one of your teammates on line.
As you can see SFI has left nothing to chance. I have never see an Internet Marketing company provide so many ways to communicate with our teammates then what SFI has provided for us.
I would say that a personal email account is all you will need to compliment your SFI communication system with your teammates.
