SFI has great ways to communicate with your team, but am I missing out by not using outside resources too like email, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, etc.?
If you fail to use other resources to communicate with your team, you may not be missing out on much. Your affiliates can contact you while you are online in the business center. There isn't a need to allow your business to invade your personal life. Everyone needs boundaries. So when you are online, that is the time to communicate.
On the contrary, being accessible on the fly may be something that you like. Then you can implement all of the resources you can handle. SFI mail has limitations. So I do use my personal email accounts to communicate with my team. I've used skype, facebook, and spoken with some of them on the phone. I will do what I can to support my team but there are limits.
