Learning to focus your mind sounds easy enough, but anyone who's tried to run a SFI business knows how hard it actually is. I used to be a multi-tasking maniac, but what I found over time was that I was making mistakes and really not getting my bigger, high-priority projects completed. Or I would get distracted, bounce from task to task and often spin in circles. Can you relate?
Now I set my deadlines on what I need to complete and when. Then I make sure and set my 90 minute focus time aside so that I can be assured of skyping or video calling my brand new PSAs.
This means you need thinking time to make the important decisions that will ultimately fulfill your vision. But how are you supposed to do that when you’ve got a million and a half things on your to-do list? Managing your SFI downline team, taking care of your PRMs [customers], overseeing your marketing–these are each full-time jobs!
