Remember your affiliates will be receiving messages from a Sponsor, a Co-sponsor and from SFI Admin; you do not want to overload them with too many messages or unnecessary ones.
As to whether you are missing out by not using extra resources, the answer is "May be not."
If your PSA's are receiving your messages or SFI tools are working for you, those at SFI should be enough.
If you are unable to reach them using the communication tools at SFI, and you know that they need your help, then you could miss out if not using outside communication channels to reach them.
You may wish to try the different forms of communication and see which ones bring you better results.
If you have a large active downlne you can benefit from outside communication resources such as:
-Facebook
-Google+ Circles and Hangouts
-Skype
-Webinars
You can miss out if you have not invited them to join you there.
