SFI has great ways to communicate with your team, but am I missing out by not using outside resources too like email, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, etc.?
Yes you are missing something if you do not use other resources to communicate to your team.
Remember that Team building is most effective if you also build relationship. Social Media like Facebook is the best place to build relationship.
For your active affiliates although they are logging in regularly and can read your message but you can not engage them in a conversation. The chat facilities in SFI website is not very effective yet unlike the chat in FB.
Social media platform is also available in your mobile phone therefore you can send messages and communicate to them anytime without logging in to you SFI account.
Make it a goal to engage your team in a conversation. As long as they are communicating to you and you are communicating with them, there will be a progress that they will make.
Those who stopped to log-in in their SFI account you have limited ways to communicate with them. So can not contact them through other resources outside SFI, like email and Facebook.
You do not need all the resources outside SFI though, but make it a point that you engage them in a conversation. That's the goal.
