For quite a few years I was cutting damaged trees on my property and using the wood to heat my house. I started by cutting trees down with a large bow saw. After working really hard all day long using this system I would be lucky to have cut down and trimmed 5 to 7 trees small enough in size to be used for firewood.

That system was working hard and it was not producing enough firewood to make it through the winter.
