When you sponsor a new affiliate, it is of utmost important to send him/her your warm welcome. You should let him/her know right from the start that you’re committed to his/her success.
As sponsor you have to develop a strategy in building close relationship with your team members and helping them to understand the core principle of SFI right from the start. A stronger and closer relationship within your team means your team will likely follow your lead to become active and stay active in growing their SFI business. This is very effective in helping them to become Movers and maintain them in your Movers list, because they have your trust and you have theirs’. They’ll listen to you by being an example of logging in everyday, performing your To-Do List, maintaining your EA2 status, moving up to TL rank, sponsoring new affiliates, building your team, etc.
A healthy relationship within your team is an excellent foundation for your Movers to increase their level of activity, becoming productive and moving their SFI business to the next level.
Here are strategies to help your Movers move up to the next level:
- Share your tips.
Share your tips about Getting Started and other common challenges of affiliates in starting journey with SFI. By sharing your expertise, you not only save the person the time and trouble of searching for the solution, but also earn their respect and trust, which makes the whole team stronger.
- Recognize your Movers’ achievements.
It makes people feel good to hear that you’re praising them behind their backs. Too many times, the only things people say when you’re not present are negative. Turn that around to show your team members that you really are on their side and that you support their efforts. Always include your Leadership page link when sending messages to them so that they’ll get inform about your tips, strategies, rewards/incentives, recognition, etc. Offer rewards/incentives to encourage them to increase their level of activity and achieve more. The Reassignment tool is powerful tool to help your Movers move up to the next level. The best way to do this is, when you see your Movers’ relentless momentum and growth of their SFI business. Your recognition will motivate your Movers to achieve more and move up to the next level in growing their SFI business.
- Offer one-on-one support.
You can monitor the progress of your Movers by viewing their VP Ledgers. Identify their challenges and offer them solutions accordingly. Send them your message and ask questions to gain more insights on their challenges. This is a perfect situation to offer your customize support and will greatly encourage them to move up to the next level.
- Encourage them to allocate time in widening their knowledge base.
Learning one topic at a time about the application of SFI tools and resources is an important step in preparing themselves to become Team Leaders. They’ll have the much needed experience to train and support their own team members when the time comes to build their own teams.
Your example (your achievements-E365, SFI rank, number of badges indicating your level of activities, etc) will help them visualize in following your lead, because action speak louder than words.
